It’s hard to believe tonight is the last night of Praisin in the Park! We can’t wait to see what God has in store, it’s going to be a powerful night!

One thing’s for sure… we’re all going to get a little wet, so don’t forget to bring a towel! It’s water kickball and the fire truck!!

I also want to take a moment to thank our amazing community, Galax Recreation Center, volunteers and parents for your support throughout Praisin in the Park 2025.

Parents, thank you for bringing your kids back each night—even if it meant muddy cars and messy shoes. You’ve helped create a week full of joy, faith, and unforgettable memories.

Let’s finish strong tonight. See you there!

📍Location: Felts Park
🕕 Registration: Begins at 6:00 PM
🎉 Event Starts: 6:30 PM
⏰ Ends: 8:30 PM

🍽 Dinner & Treat Menu
Each night we’ll have a delicious meal and fun treats for all the kids:
• Sunday: Hot dogs & cotton candy
• Monday: Bird Dogs (Food City chicken tenders in a hotdog bun), popcorn, and cookies
• Tuesday: Walking tacos & mini cupcakes
• Wednesday: Pizza & snow cones

💦 WATER NIGHT - Wednesday!
We’re ending the week with a splash! Be ready for:
• Water Kickball 💧
• A visit from the Fire Truck 🚒
Please send a towel and a change of clothes!

This is going to be an amazing week! We can’t wait to see what God does through Praisin in the Park!

We are 2 days away!!
Praisin’ in the Park is so much more than just a VBS.
It’s a time for kids to come together, enjoy a good meal, dance, sing, hear Bible lessons, play games, and most of all—feel the love of Jesus poured out through the hands and hearts of over 100 volunteers.
I’m asking you to stand with me and pray over this event. The weather has been all over the place, and I know the enemy is trying to use it to stir up worry and fear that it won’t happen. But I’m holding onto the truth: in 17 years, only one night has ever been canceled. ONE night out of 17 years ?!? That’s Jesus right there!
God is bigger than the storm, and I believe He’s going to show up in powerful ways. Let’s pray with boldness and expectancy! 🙏🏻

Praisin in the Park begins Sunday July 20th! Each day this coming week, let’s come together in prayer and believe God for big things!

Sunday, July 13 – Prepare us

🙏 Pray for God’s presence to fill Felts Park from the first welcome to the final song.
❤️ Pray for joy, unity, protection, and a powerful start to an unforgettable week!

Monday, July 14 – Pray for the Weather

🙏 Pray for clear skies, mild temperatures, and no rain throughout the week.
🌤️ Ask God to prepare the weather to create the perfect environment for worship, learning, and connection at Felts Park.

Tuesday, July 15 – Pray for the Volunteers

🙏 Pray for strength, good health, rest, and encouragement for every volunteer—before, during, and after the event.
🫶 Ask God to fill them with joy, patience, and passion as they serve.

Wednesday, July 16 – Pray for the Kids Attending

🙏 Pray that every child who attends will feel loved, safe, and open to hearing the Gospel.
💖 Ask God to prepare their hearts for life-changing encounters with Jesus.

Thursday, July 17 – Pray for Salvation & Spiritual Growth

🙏 Pray for kids (and adults) to make decisions for Christ, grow in faith, and feel the power of the Holy Spirit at work.
🕊️ Ask God to plant seeds that will continue to grow long after the event ends.

Friday, July 18 – Pray for Families and Community Impact

🙏 Pray that entire families are impacted and drawn closer to each other and to Jesus.
🌍 Pray that God uses this week to build unity and spark continued ministry in our town.”

Saturday, July 19 – Pray for Final Preparations & Peace

🙏 Pray over final details and setup.
🙌 Ask God to calm any nerves, give peace to each volunteer, and bless the work of their hands.

Every year we are blessed with great business sponsors for Praisin in the Park.
