What a great night under the Friday night lights! 🏈

It was awesome to see so many of our young people from Oak Grove involved in last night’s game. Our church family stretches across a wide area of Northeast Georgia, and nights like this are a good reminder that even when we may be wearing different school colors, we’re still part of the same church family.

No matter the outcome on the scoreboard, I’m thankful to see our young people involved, competing, supporting one another, and representing their families, schools, and church community well.

Thank you to everyone from Oak Grove who came out in person or watched online to support these young people. I’ll admit—I spent more time on the visitors’ side last night than I probably will the rest of the season! 😂

Proud of all of them, and thankful for the opportunity we have as a church to encourage the next generation.

Different schools. Different colors. One church family. 💙

What a blessing it was to witness 14 people follow the Lord in believer’s baptism yesterday! We rejoice in what God is doing in the lives of these individuals and in our church family.

Tomorrow is going to be a special day at Oak Grove Baptist Church!

We will celebrate 14 baptisms as believers publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ. What a testimony to God’s saving grace and transforming power!

We encourage everyone to arrive a little early and be in your seat on time so you don’t miss this exciting part of our worship service. Come ready to worship, celebrate, and support these individuals as they take this important step of obedience.
