I love these guys! There’s never a dull moment at Oak Grove Baptist Church! ❤️

What a great night under the Friday night lights! 🏈

It was awesome to see so many of our young people from Oak Grove involved in last night’s game. Our church family stretches across a wide area of Northeast Georgia, and nights like this are a good reminder that even when we may be wearing different school colors, we’re still part of the same church family.

No matter the outcome on the scoreboard, I’m thankful to see our young people involved, competing, supporting one another, and representing their families, schools, and church community well.

Thank you to everyone from Oak Grove who came out in person or watched online to support these young people. I’ll admit—I spent more time on the visitors’ side last night than I probably will the rest of the season! 😂

Proud of all of them, and thankful for the opportunity we have as a church to encourage the next generation.

Different schools. Different colors. One church family. 💙

THIS SUNDAY | SERMON PREVIEW 📖

Watch Your Words
James 3:2

We all stumble—but our words reveal a lot about what’s happening in our hearts.

This Sunday, we’ll see why controlling our tongue is such an important part of following Jesus.

Come worship with us!

Tomorrow is going to be a special day at Oak Grove Baptist Church!

We will celebrate 14 baptisms as believers publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ. What a testimony to God’s saving grace and transforming power!

We encourage everyone to arrive a little early and be in your seat on time so you don’t miss this exciting part of our worship service. Come ready to worship, celebrate, and support these individuals as they take this important step of obedience.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We can’t wait to see what God has in store!
