“On Palm Sunday, we join the chorus of voices proclaiming Jesus as King, acknowledging His sovereignty over our lives and our world.” — Rick Warren.

John 12:12-16 TPT
The next day the news that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem swept through the massive crowd gathered for the feast.

So they took palm branches and went out to meet him. Everyone was shouting, "Lord, be our Savior! Blessed is the one who comes to us sent from Yahweh, the King of lsrael!"

Then Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it to fulfill what was prophesied: "People of Zion, have no fear! Look-it's your king coming to you riding on a young donkey!' Now Jesus' disciples didn't fully understand the importance of what was taking place, but after he was raised and exalted into glory, they understood how Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies in the Scriptures that were written about him."

Recovery might be challenging, but living without Jesus Christ is harder!

Part of the Transformation process is understanding that we are a work in progress, but knowing that we are God's Masterpiece is also a game changer. Keep going and keep coming back!

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Recovery, whether physical, emotional, or mental, takes time, patience, and consistent effort. It’s a process of healing, growth, and self-awareness. Sometimes, progress may feel slow or even impossible, but it’s essential to trust the journey and take things one step at a time.

Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviours and that our lives had become unmanageable.

I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
Romans 7:18

There is no place too dark that God cannot light it up. Even in our darkest moments, when we are lost and feel so far away, God shines His light on us. How? He uses others to search, to find, and to lead the way.

Jesus said, “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house...let your light shine before others." (Matthew 5:14-16)

Ask God to use you to be a light in a dark place for someone today. Is your light hidden or is it shining so that others can see?

Sometimes, we unknowingly limit ourselves, staying within barriers that no longer serve us 🐑. This image serves as a powerful metaphor for how we can feel ‘stuck’ despite having the freedom to move forward. It’s a reminder to step back, reassess, and realize that the gate is open 🚪, and the path to growth is ours to take 🌱
