For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-9

Maybe you’ve been trying really hard to be enough, to be a better Christian, make fewer mistakes, or prove that you’re worth loving.

But you don’t have to perform for God.
Your failures don’t surprise Him, and your good works don’t earn His grace. Jesus has already done what you could never do for yourself.

So follow Him. Obey Him. Grow in holiness. But don’t do it to earn your place with Him. You don’t obey to earn your place in Christ. You obey because, by God’s grace, you have been brought into Christ!

WHAT IS SHAPING YOU?
What you spend time around, listen to, believe, and focus on will influence the person you become. Romans 12:2 reminds us to let God’s truth, not the world around us; shape the way we think. As He renews our minds, He helps us see ourselves, our circumstances, and our purpose differently.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. Let Him reshape the way you think, live, and love, and trust that He’s still working in you. That’s something to be encouraged by!
