Good evening Whorton Bend Memorial Family and friends,

Romans 9:14-16, 18, 25-26 NIV
What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy. Therefore God has mercy on whom He wants to have mercy, and He hardens whom He wants to harden. As He says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘My people’ who are not My people; and I will call her ‘My loved one’ who is not My loved one,” and, “In the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’ ”
The Lord is calling, are we listening? Thank You Lord, for the call on my life, continue to draw others to Your plan of salvation.

Have a blessed and restful night,

Antoinette

Good evening Whorton Bend Memorial Family and friends,

Romans 8:22-26 NIV
We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. For in this Hope we were saved. But Hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

Paul speaks in a way that early Christians understtod...God knows that we are not perfect, only He is. Live every day, like you have seen the first light of each day.

Have a blessed and restful night,
Antoinette

Good evening Whorton Bend Family and friends,

Romans 7:21-25 NIV
[21] So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. [22] For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; [23] but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. [24] What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? [25] Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Sin is powerful, The Son is All powerful.

God's Word is eternally powerful. Have a blessed and restful night,
Antoinette

Good early morning Whorton Bend Family, and friends,

My apologies for the very early post...

Romans 6:1-4 NIV
What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Thank You, Father for new life in Jesus! Forgiveness in Jesus Christ does not mean to sin more, to get more grace, but to know that our sin is not more powerful than The Lord's power over sin.
Thank You, Lord!

Have a blessed and restful night,

Antoinette

Good evening Whorton Bend Family and friends,

Romans 5:6-8 NIV
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Just when we were ready to give up...Jesus sacrificed Himself for us. So, when you think that you are too far away from God's plan, He reaches out to us.

Have a blessed and restful night. and know that God’s love is very deep and wide.

Good evening Whorton Bend Family and friends,

There is so much that I want to say about today...but I'll wait until I have time to let my heart and fingers catch up with each other.

Romans 3:25-26 NIV
God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— He did it to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

The Lord is so amazing!!! He paid the price for my sin, and allwes me to live in Him.

How amazing!!!!
Thank You, Lord!!!!

Have a blessed and restful night,

Antoinette
