I was listening to a song today. It was called Church in a Chevy. It was an amazing song and talked about how sometimes just taking a drive or listening to a song when the world gets heavy is more of a church service then an actual church service. Now please understand, I am by no means don’t go to a church service but to really think about how something as simple as much can have you worshipping God and feeling his love just surround you. God is not just in a church building, He is everywhere and in everything, you just have to look and seek him out! Sometimes going to church in a Chevy is just the thing your heart needs!

For some of us, this is so hard to comprehend . I was a planner, I had everything laid out. I wanted to do this by a certain age, get married by this time, have kids by this age, etc… well let me tell you God laughed at my plans and I’m so glad He did! If I would have followed my plan, I would definitely not be where I am today. God’s does give us free will but His plan will always prevail! Please know that if everything in life seems like a mess and all of your plans are not what you want them to be.. know that His plan is coming into play. Keep praying and keep the faith!

Sometimes just some quiet time to think and just ask God to listen to your heart is enough. He just wants you to come to him. You don’t always have to have the right words, kind words or thoughtful words. Sometimes, you need to open your heart and mind to Him!

So many times we don’t think about the beauty that God is creating when it seems like everything is falling apart. Out of the ashes, God will always rise and make things anew and beautiful!
