Meat: Luke 22:42 “"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."

Potatoes: God often breaks a seemly good plan because there is something we do not see.

Gravy: We are given the confidence that his will is always better than ours, so we don’t have to live with guilt.

Meat: John 7:37 “On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”

Potatoes: Jesus often chose words that speak to the heart. That is because wounded hearts need those kind words.

Gravy: People who thirst because they know their sins, disappointments and hurts are the very people Jesus holds closest in his heart
