This week’s passage: 2 Corinthians 5: 17-21 and Acts 8: 26-40

Here are some discussion questions to continue your worship throughout the week: 1. In Mark 5:19, Jesus tells a man who received and experienced his mercy to, “Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” In other words, those who receive God’s mercy in Christ proclaim it to others. How does God’s mercy freely given to you motivate you to proclaim it to others?
2. How can you grow in your practice of evangelism (e.g., join a GO team)?
3. Identify at least five people in your relational networks with whom you can share the gospel.
- Familial Network
- Geographical Network
- Vocational Network
- Recreational Network
- Commercial Network
4. Now commit to doing at least one of these tasks for each of them:
- Pray for them
- Invite them
- Serve them
- Give resources to them
-Share the gospel with them
5. Close by praying for these people.

Biblical community is a place where we don’t have to pretend. We’re called to bring our sin into the light—speaking honestly with God and with one another without excuses or attempts to dress it up. As we confess, pray for one another, and walk in genuine repentance, God uses His people to bring healing and restoration. True community isn’t about appearing perfect; it’s about pursuing Christ together in honesty and grace.

Biblical community loves enough to step in. When a brother or sister is caught in sin, we aren’t called to condemn them or look down on them—we’re called to lovingly pursue restoration. Like a doctor setting a broken bone, restoration may be uncomfortable, but the goal is always healing. We love one another too much to leave each other tangled in sin.

3. Why is the church vital for our growth in Christ?
4. How can we purposefully help each other become mature in Christ every time we are together (e.g., Sunday morning corporate gathering, community group, Bible studies, etc.)?
5. Is there an area of your life where you need to grow (a battle with sin, help believing God’s promises, encouragement, hope, a broken relationship, help in obeying God’s Word, etc.)? How can others help you? How can you help others?
