What a wonderful time at our Celebration Lunch yesterday!

We gathered to celebrate our church family and the conclusion of our Legacy stewardship campaign ā€” a reminder that stewardship is about so much more than financial giving. Itā€™s about how we use our whole lives to Worship, Grow, Serve, Give, and Go and leave a legacy that others can build on.

A huge thank you to our Stewardship Team and everyone who helped make this special celebration possible. Weā€™re so grateful for each of you and excited to see how God continues to use First Frisco in the year ahead!

Led by Rebecca Campbell and Pat McClain, this six-week study will explore the churches Paul planted throughout Greece, the challenges of sharing the Gospel in a strong pagan culture, and the wisdom he offered these new Christian communities through his letters.

You'll gain a deeper understanding of Paulā€™s ministry and fresh insight into Scripture along the way.

We love our preschool! Last nightā€™s Family Fun Night was such a fun reminder of what a special community we have at Friends in Christ. From bounce houses and face painting to the cake walk and dinner, kids and parents had a blast!

Weā€™re so thankful for our amazing preschool teachers and staff and the love and care they pour into our children and families each day. What a blessing to have such a wonderful preschool right here at First Frisco!

We had such a fun night at our Womenā€™s Ministry BLINGo!

Everyone brought the bling and sparkle, enjoyed a delicious homemade dinner, and had lots of laughs playing Bingo together.

A HUGE thank you to our Womenā€™s Ministry Team for all the time, planning, cooking, decorating, and hard work that goes into making these gatherings so special. We appreciate you so much!

Such a sweet morning celebrating Tracey and Jim. There were definitely mixed emotions as we said goodbye - we are so proud of Tracey and excited for this next chapter, but we will miss them both so much.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the reception so special, from the food and decorations to the kind words, memories, and prayers shared throughout the morning.

San Augustine is truly blessed to be receiving not only a wonderful pastor, but an incredible ministry team! Weā€™re cheering you both on and praying for all that God has ahead!

What a fun day at our Third Grade Bible Retreat!

Our 3rd graders searched all over the church campus for clues, eventually leading them to a treasure chest filled with something pretty special - their very own new Bibles!

Later, during the Bible Presentation, they unwrapped their Bibles one layer at a time while learning the meaning behind each layer. One of the layers included comicsā€¦and most of the kids had never seen them before. šŸ˜³ Yep, that made some of us feel a little old! šŸ˜‚

Thank you to everyone who helped make the retreat and presentation such a fun and meaningful experience for our 3rd graders.

And the adventure isnā€™t over - theyā€™ll start digging deeper into their new Bibles this Sunday!

What a great night at our Fall Kickoff Dinner!

It was so good to gather together as we kicked off a new season of Bible studies, ministries, and opportunities to grow and connect at First Frisco.

A very special thank you to our youth, youth parents, and leaders for cooking the most delicious HOMEMADE lasagna for everyone! It was SO good, and all the time and effort that went into preparing it was very much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - weā€™re excited for all thatā€™s ahead this fall!

What a special day celebrating 20 years of the Silver Sombrero Sisters!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch catered by The Chocolate Angel and a wonderful message from Shannon Vowell about the value of friendship, supporting one another through every season of life, and the importance of treasuring those relationships - and teaching others to do the same.

For 20 years, the Silver Sombrero Sisters have shared life together - the joys, the challenges, the laughter, the tears, and everything in between.

We also had the opportunity to honor Pastor Tracey and celebrate the special place she holds in the hearts of so many in this group before she leaves for San Augustine.

Thank you to everyone who helped make todayā€™s celebration so special, and to all the women who have been part of this ministry through the years. Hereā€™s to 20 wonderful years and the friendships still to come!
