Five years of God building His church, one person, one family, and one yes at a time.

We loved celebrating all that God has done at Onward, but some of our favorite moments were simply looking around and seeing the people who make up this church family.

Five years of Onward deserved a PARTY. 🥳

We loved having our kids on stage worshipping with us, hearing stories of what God has done through His people at Onward, and taking time together to look back and celebrate His faithfulness over the last five years.

And then…we had some FUN! Donuts and pastries before service, burgers after, snow cones, ice cream, tattoos, balloon animals, foam party, water slides, dunk tanks…and a whole lot of time just being together.

Because as fun as all of it was, one of our favorite parts was simply getting to spend the day with the Onward family.

Five years down, and we’re so thankful for what God has done and excited for what’s ahead.

Five years. And what a gift to stop and remember.

Before there was Onward, God was already at work. Through different churches, different people, surrendered plans, unexpected turns, and countless acts of faithfulness, He was writing a story we couldn’t yet see.

And now we get to look back at five years of Sundays, baptisms, kids growing up, friendships formed, people finding community, and lives changed by the gospel. Through the beautiful moments and the hard ones, one thing has remained true: God has been faithful.

Yesterday wasn’t just about celebrating where we’ve been. It was about remembering who has brought us here and looking ahead to the people, families, and stories we haven’t even met yet.

We remember. We give thanks. And we look forward.

Five years is worth celebrating. And we’re just getting started.

Onward for the broken, the lost, the hurt, the redeemed, the Kingdom.

2025 - We kept making memories, but even more importantly, we kept seeing God change lives.

The Table filled the year with Together Nights, retreat, Fun in Frisco, and plenty of fun in between. We served our city through The Big Serve and loved on caseworkers with an appreciation breakfast. Kids learned about Jesus. Students filled Wednesday nights and even had our first-ever Onward Students retreat planned and pulled off by our own team. Men gathered for the Men’s Getaway, meetups, and more.

We stood on the side of the road with Easter signs inviting our neighbors to church. We gathered Sunday after Sunday. We watched people put their faith in Jesus. We celebrated baptisms and baby dedications. And at All Family Huddles, we worshiped, laughed, learned, and grew together as a church family.

These pictures are only a tiny glimpse of everything God did in 2025 and really, that’s been true of every year we’ve shared this week.

Five years. So many stories we could never fit into a carousel. So many prayers answered. So many lives changed.

And tomorrow, we get to celebrate it all together. See you at 9 AM.

ONWARD STORIES | 5 Years of God’s Faithfulness 🎉

As we close out this series, Tori’s story is a beautiful reminder that God is faithful in every season, even the ones where we can’t yet see what He’s doing.

When Tori first came to Onward, she was walking through a season of loneliness, exhaustion, and deep hurt. Over time, God used prayer, serving, and people who truly knew and loved her to bring healing, restore joy, and remind her that He had never stopped working.

Tomorrow, we get to celebrate five years of stories just like these. Five years of God changing lives, building His Church, and proving Himself faithful again and again.
