Hi! We are CCFH Kids, the ministry for birth-8th grade students at Christ's Church Of Fountain Hills!

Happy Monday! 💙

Yesterday, the kids watched a video about the 10 Commandments and the golden calf! The kids learned that God gave Moses the 10 Commandments on top of a mountain. The Israelites got tired of waiting for him to come back down and made a golden calf to worship.

Thank you God for reminding us that there is only one true God and that making a silly thing and treating it like God is a big mistake!

Happy Monday! 💙

Yesterday, the kids watched a video about the 12 disciples. The kids learned that these 12 men were Jesus’s closest followers and helped spread the gospel around the world! The kids then made a craft to help them memorize all the disciples names! Peter, James, John, Andrew, Phillip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, Thaddeus, Simon, and Judas!

Happy Monday! ❤️

Yesterday, the kids watched a video on Adam and Eve’s sin. The kids learned that they lived in the Garden of Eden and could eat any fruit in the whole garden except for the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The serpent (Satan) convinced Eve to eat fruit from the tree she shouldn’t! She gave it to Adam and he ate it too! After they ate the fruit their eyes were opened and they were afraid. God told Eve she would have great pain in her life, Adam would have to work very hard for the rest of his life, and the serpent would now have to crawl on his belly. They were then sent out of the Garden of Eden, it was a very sad day.
The kids then made a paper tear apple to represent the forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve ate.
We are so thankful that if we turn to God and ask for his forgiveness and sin no more, that he will forgive us!
