Elevate City Church

Elevate City Church We exist to help people to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. We’re not experts. We’re far from perfect.

Elevate City Church is a community of people whose purpose and goal is to love God and love people. Nobody looks the same and yet everybody belongs. Each weekend at Elevate City Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Through the use of practical teaching and dynamic worship, we strive to present the message of Jesus Christ in a clear and relevant way. At Elevate there is no dress co

de. We believe that God cares more about the condition of your heart than your outward appearance. Feel free to dress up or come in a pair of jeans and your favorite t-shirt, whatever makes you comfortable. If you are visiting for the first time: we won't embarrass you, call you out, or ask you to give money. We have an awesome team of people to help guide you and connect with you, but we realize that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” and that’s fine with us! So come in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re spiritually restless, discontent, new at discovering who God is, or a veteran of the faith, you’re welcome here.

What a powerful First Wednesday. 🙌

There are moments when a message feels less like a sermon and more like a reminder from God that He sees exactly where His people are. Tonight was one of those moments.

As we walked through the story of Pharaoh and the journey from bo***ge to freedom, we were reminded that God hears the cries of His people, that freedom has a purpose, and that His presence remains faithful through every season.

Some of the truths we heard felt especially timely: you don’t need perfect prayers, just an honest cry. And when freedom feels unfamiliar, God is still leading the way forward.

We’re grateful for a church family that continues to worship, pray, and trust God together. Even in seasons that carry both joy and weight, His voice is still speaking freedom.

There’s something powerful about coming together in His presence, and we’d love to see you there.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own, Melissa Butterworth.

From the very beginning of Elevate City, Melissa was more than a member she was a builder, a leader, and an essential part of the foundation of this church. Alongside Pastor Kyle and her sister Bethany, she helped launch Elevate City and faithfully served from day one. Her fingerprints are all over the ministry we are blessed to call home today.

Melissa had a heart for people and a passion for serving God. She invested countless hours into helping others, encouraging those around her, and building the Kingdom of God. Her love, faithfulness, and servant’s heart impacted more lives than we will ever fully know this side of heaven.

While we grieve this tremendous loss, we also celebrate a life that was fully devoted to Christ. Melissa’s faith was genuine, unwavering, and inspiring. Today, we find comfort in knowing that she is in the presence of her Savior, healed, whole, and at peace. Because of her faith in Jesus, we have the hope of seeing her again.

Please join us in praying for Pastor Kyle, Bethany, her brother Phil, parents Mike, Kristy, and the entire family during this incredibly difficult time. We ask that you continue to surround them with your love, prayers, and support in the days ahead.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

📍 Elevate City Church
🗓 Saturday
⏰ Visitation: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
⏰ Celebration of Life Service: 1:00 PM

Melissa’s life made an eternal impact, and her legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

What an incredible Rally Day! 🙌

Today was a powerful reminder that life is better together. It was amazing seeing so many people connecting, finding groups, and taking steps toward deeper community.

Pastor Matt wrapped up our Disciple series with a message that was exactly what we needed. A Spirit Empowered Life isn’t about doing more in our own strength, it’s about surrendering to the Holy Spirit and praying:

✨ Holy Spirit, change me.
✨ Holy Spirit, show me.
✨ Holy Spirit, use me.

As disciples, we can’t give away what we don’t have. When we allow the Holy Spirit to transform us, He can use us to impact the people around us and help bring in the harvest.

If you missed Rally Day, there’s still time to get connected. Find a group and let’s continue growing together!

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reflects the kind of selfless love spoken of in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” We remember with gratitude, honor their legacy, and never take for granted the freedoms their courage helped protect. 🇺🇸🙏

Today was amazing🤍

We loved having Pastor Rob Yanok with us as we continued our Disciple series with a powerful message on bearing fruit & building bigger tables.

We were reminded that Jesus didn’t avoid imperfect people… He welcomed them to the table. And as disciples, we’re called to do the same.

🍎 Bearing fruit isn’t just about what we say, it’s about how we love people.
🪑 Bigger tables mean making room for others to experience the grace of God.
✨ There is no limit to His mercy, no shortage of His love, and no person too far gone for His grace.

We also loved getting to celebrate all of our graduates today! 🎓 What an incredible day in God’s house.
