Baby Killers Justice (Psalm 137). The murderous tormentors insensitively mock the exiled with calls for joyous worship songs in a pagan land. The cries for revenge of anguished parents who have seen their children dashed to pieces is hard to stomach. Praying for evil to face justice.

Life Making God (Psalm 135). The LORD who makes life and makes Israel, God’s people, vanquishes the wicked enemies and vindicates those who trust in the LORD. The humans who make little gods have no one to hear or answer their prayers. God who hears our prayers dwells with us.

Even Life Everlasting (Psalm 134) While we may bless the LORD to praise his wonderful deeds and awesome name, the LORD blesses us to bestow his grace and transform our lives. Do we make our way to the house of the LORD? being in His presence blesses even with life everlasting.

Anointing Bearded Unity (Psalm 133). Why is unity of the believers pleasant and good? Which begs the question, what is the cause of disunity? How do we have unity as believers? Do we pray for unity as it is a blessing coming down from God?

Weaned Spiritual Contentment (Psalm 131). Knowing God means looking at God through humble eyes and seeing others the same way. Knowing God means recognizing the limitations of our understandings. Knowing God means realizing He alone is trustworthy of our hope in the present and eternally.

Familial Blessing Contentment (Psalm 128). Those who revere the LORD walking in His word will be blessed. Part of God’s blessing of our lives is to give us marriage and family. Do we cherish the blessings of marriage and children that God gives us?

Before Behind Above (Psalm 125). The LORD Surrounds his people with his love and protection. In every direction the LORD has us covered. So we are encouraged not to be influenced by their wickedness to engage in wicked behavior in response. The peace of God covers over us.

Looking Past Opponents (Psalm 123). When we are going through challenges what do I our eyes see? Is our vision preoccupied with the problems or do see God? We are encouraged to look to the hand of the LORD.

God-Made Israel (Psalm 105:23-45). Israel was made by God who took wanderers and slaves to make them into a nation. They were despised to trusting the LORD, but the LORD vanquished the Egyptian gods through the plagues. He brought out his people so they may live His Word.
