Saint Thomas Parish Announces School Expansion and Providence Center Renovation Progress
Saint Thomas Parish has announced continued progress in the expansion of Saint Thomas School and the renovation of the Providence Center as preparations continue for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Saint Thomas School has hired additional teachers for 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade. These hires will allow the school to operate two homerooms in Kindergarten through 6th Grade beginning next school year.
The school’s initial staffing plan focused on adding second homeroom teachers in 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade. Due to the strength of the applicant pool, Saint Thomas expanded that plan to include a second 2nd Grade homeroom as well.
The expanded staffing model will help maintain intentionally smaller class sizes, generally under 20 students, with most classrooms projected between 15 and 18 students.
In addition to school staffing expansion, the Providence Center renovation project is progressing and is currently in the demolition phase. Once completed, the renovated Providence Center will provide expanded classroom space, a new home for the parish’s Adoration Chapel, and additional ministry and meeting space for parish use.
These developments are part of Saint Thomas Parish’s broader efforts to respond to continued enrollment growth and invest in the long-term future of its parish and school community.
