The worship center is getting a complete transformation.

Floors, ceiling, acoustical treatments, the platform itself. It's all being rebuilt from the ground up. Permits are in hand and the work ahead is going to be worth watching.

We are praying for every phase of this renovation. If you want to pray alongside us, follow along for updates as Renew Phase 2 takes shape.

Save this to stay in the loop as things start coming in.

The worship center is as demolished as it's going to get, and we wanted to take you inside.

Russell and Cary walk through the space and show you what's changed, the platform that's been torn out and rebuilt for a new bump-out design, the trench dug for new low-voltage cabling, all the house lights gone and replaced with work lights for now, acoustical treatments pulled from the walls and balcony, and yes, the bathrooms fully gutted and ready to be rebuilt from scratch.

Permits are in hand. The team is working. And everything that has come out is making room for what's coming in.

A few things to know as we move forward:

➡ There is no firm timetable yet. A project this complex has too many variables for hard commitments.

➡ We will share updates as there is progress to share.

➡ The worship center is an active job site. Our contractor has asked us to control access, and we are honoring that ask. No tours are available right now.

➡ We do not have all the prayer we need. We never do. Pray for the safety and success of Renew Phase 2.

We are grateful for the givers who made this project possible and for the McGregor family gathering faithfully in Fellowship Hall while the work continues.
More updates are coming. Keep watching.

Faith that is truly fixed on Jesus does not go quiet when He goes silent.

This morning, we dove into Matthew 15:21-28, where Elder Omar Edwards showed us what G.R.E.A.T. faith looks like through a woman who refused to give up. We sang about the Name above every name, and then we studied someone who kept calling on that Name even when every signal said to stop. God-focused. Repentant. Earnest. Adoring. Tenacious.

That is the faith Jesus called great. And it is available to anyone willing to keep coming to Him. Making Much about Jesus together.

There's a place for you with us next Sunday at 8, 9:30, or 11.

Three things happen every Sunday here.

Someone meets you before you figure out where to go. The worship is a real response to God, not a show. And the teaching points straight to Jesus, every single week.

That is what we are about. Sunday at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 AM. Fort Myers.

Men are given great responsibilities by God, but it’s easy to slip into pride and self-reliance. God did not intend for men to carry out these responsibilities without Him or the help of other men and women.

A man on his own has no one to reach down when he falls, and every man falls. We were made to be carried sometimes, not only to carry.

Honesty with other people is not weakness. It is through this kind of fellowship that God keeps
strength alive.

This week, tell one trustworthy person one real thing. Watch what God does with it.

Save this for the next time someone asks how you're doing and you almost say fine.

The darkness was real. And so was the rescue.

God did not send instructions. He came Himself. A throne exchanged for a cradle. A crown exchanged for a cross. Every promise in Scripture converging on one person, one life, one resurrection that changed everything.

Jesus did not die to make bad people good. He died to make dead people alive.
The morning He rose, the stone moved, the tombs opened, and the souls of all who come to the Father were restored. That is not poetry. That is the gospel.

Save this for the next time life feels like darkness with no way out.

The Bible has more manuscript evidence than any other ancient document. When scholars compare them, they line up.

That is not luck. That is God keeping His word.

More copies. More consistency. More centuries of preservation. God has not been careless with Scripture.

So the question is not whether you can trust it. It is whether you will open it.

Your first impression of McGregor starts in the parking lot.

Ron Sawyer has been part of this church family for 21 years and serves on the Security team here on staff. On Saturday mornings, before most people are thinking about Sunday, he is already out there setting up 21 signs so that when you pull in, you know exactly where to go.

That kind of care is intentional. Serving the first impression matters because people matter.

Send this to someone who needs a church family to show up for them this weekend.

Religion can make you look clean and stay corrupt.

The Pharisees had built an entire system around looking devoted. Traditions layered on top of traditions. And Jesus quoted Isaiah at them: this people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Pastor Russell Howard walked through Matthew 14-15 this past Sunday pressing on a question most of us avoid. Is what I'm doing with God a relationship, or just a routine?

The problem Jesus names is not behavior. It's the heart that keeps producing the behavior. And the only one who can change a heart is the one who made it.

Save this for the next time religion feels like enough.

Grace is at the heart of the Christian message, and it changes how we come to God.

We are not saved by our performance and traditions. We are saved by grace through faith, and that faith is God's gift to us. None of our salvation gives us room to boast, because it was Christ who died our death and rose again.

This is the Gospel. Jesus did what we never could.

Send this to a friend who is worn out from trying to earn God's approval.
