This Sunday in RE, all kids will participate (or observe) in yoga, led by Suzanne Blaney (co-owner of Health & Harmony, off McGregor). Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one. If you have extras, we welcome those, too.

Come on out this Sunday to explore your playful side! We're going to monkey around while we consider the ways that play nurtures our minds and spirits, allowing us to try out new possibilities -- to imagine new worlds. Meg Just, Dir. of Children's Religious Education, leads this service, but her talk is just as important to adults as children.

What a wonderful start to the Youth Group fundraiser! On day 1, the kids sold 9 boxes! (They are selling beautiful cards for all occasions). They are raising money to take a trip to Plains, Georgia in order to share in a morning service with former president Jimmy Carter! Please stop by their table in Hobart Hall next Sunday and bring your checkbooks. ;)

Hey folks. The kids heard this version of this year's theme song. "Come, Come, Whoever You Are" will be revisited throughout the year as our anthem for this year's pillar (mentioned below). Please take a moment to listen with your kids. Reinforce the lyrics and have a chat about their meanings. It's a lovely tune based on a Rumi poem.

This a song that was inspired by the words of the great Sufi mystic and philosopher, Mowlana Jalaluddin Rumi[1207 - 1273]. The melody was written by Rev. Dr....
