Word For The Week 📖

God lit the fires on the altars of His dwelling places in the Old Testament, but He commanded the priests to keep the fires going. In the new covenant, all of God’s people are priests, so we all have the job to keep the fires burning that the Lord ignites. We may think that is the pastor’s job, or the job of those who are “in ministry” as it is now perceived to be, but that’s an old covenant concept.

MorningStar Fellowship Church, Fort Mill will be holding its very first Freedom Retreat on June 5 & 6 led by Pastor Gary and our local leadership team!

We believe the ministry of deliverance is an expression of the love of Jesus-- bringing people out of darkness into His glorious light! This will be a time of cleaning house, looking at areas of potential repentance, forgiveness, renunciation, and more!

What makes worship at MSU different? 🎙️🔥

It is not only about learning the technical side of music or becoming better on a platform. It is about being formed in the Spirit while you worship—learning how to minister to the Lord, how to grow in His presence, and how to lead from a heart that truly knows Him.

That is part of what makes the School of Worship so special to us. We care about excellence, yes—but even more than that, we care about hearts that are alive before God. Because real worship is not just learned skill. It is life in the Spirit.
