Sermon Theme: God Blesses Us with Leaders

06/05/2026

When doubt starts asking questions, answer with truth. ✝️

🙌 God is still holding you.
❤️ Your forgiveness is secure in Jesus.
👑 Death has already been defeated.

Your hope doesn’t rest on how strong your faith feels today—it rests on what Christ has already done.

📲 SAVE this post for the next time fear, anxiety, or uncertainty tries to take over.

💛 Then SHARE it with someone who needs the reminder that they’re held in God’s hands.

💭 “How can I know for sure that I’m forgiven?”

💭 “How can I know that God is working for my good?”

Questions like these aren’t new. We all wrestle with doubt, fear, and uncertainty.

But Scripture points us to a powerful truth: your life isn’t held together by chance, luck, or an impersonal force.

Your life is held in the hands of the Triune God. 🙌

The hands that healed the sick. ❤️
The hands that calmed the storm. 🌊
The hands that carried the weight of your sin to the cross ✝️
The hands that defeated death and rose again. 👑

Whatever you’re facing today, your hope rests in the One who has already won the victory.

There’s a seat for you here. 💛

Not because you have it all together.
Not because you believe perfectly.
Not because life is easy right now.

Just because you’re welcome.

At St. Peter’s, we’re real people gathering around a real Savior — and we’d love to save you a seat this Sunday. ⛪

👉 If you’ve been thinking about coming back to church, trying church for the first time, or just need a place to breathe and belong… sit with us. 💛

You can attend church. ⛪
Know the songs. 🎶
Follow the traditions. 📖
And still walk away thirsty. 💧

That’s exactly what Jesus confronted during the Feast of Tabernacles. The people were deeply religious… but many still missed the Messiah standing right in front of them.

And honestly? We can too.

Our souls thirst for peace 🕊️
forgiveness ❤️
purpose ✨
hope 🌅
life that lasts 🙌

And no amount of achievement, entertainment, success, or even “being religious” can satisfy that thirst.

But Jesus can. ✝️💧

“If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink.” — John 7:37

Jesus doesn’t just give advice. He gives living water. 🌊

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

Today we honor the men and women who gave so much for others. Their service reminds us that real love is lived out sacrificially — not only remembered in words, but carried forward in how we serve, care for, and love our neighbors each day.

We pray for peace for grieving families, gratitude in our hearts, and unity in our communities.

Lord, help us live with humble love and thankful hearts. Amen. 💛

Jesus Lives to Pour Out His Spirit!

Sometimes the loudest way to share your faith isn’t with words — it’s with love. 💛

Love that expects nothing back.
Love that shows up.
Love that reflects Jesus.

And who knows what God might do through that kind of love in someone else’s life. ✨
