Pastor Gus, Anton, Ellis and Major took a road trip last weekend to the small town of Bridgeport in western Nebraska. It's a town known for farming, it's location on the North Platte River and for monuments iconic to westward expansion via the Oregon Trail.
It was for a meeting of our Presbytery of Plains & Peaks, a meeting Harmony will host in October.
So we thought it appropriate to give you a taste of what it's like to conduct the business of the church. It's a meeting, yes, so there is the mundane and the mind numbing. But there is always so much more in the culture, food and travel of it all - people and places. It's what you make of it, really.
It's a slice of real America, of faith and of our people.
We have four months to prepare, everyone; your help is needed!

We had to postpone a team of arborists to clean up our trees, but, that's okay! They rescheduled for Friday, 5/22 (and we only lost one tree branch).
