What if we came to church this weekend expecting God to move? 🙌

Not just attending.
Not just checking a box.
Not just going through the motions.
What if we came hungry for more of Jesus?

This weekend, we continue our “I Am” series with one of Jesus’ most powerful statements:
✨ “I Am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” ✨

In a world full of opinions, confusion, and competing voices, Jesus reminds us that our hope isn't found in having all the answers—it's found in Him.

Come expecting God to speak.
Come expecting Him to encourage.
Come expecting Him to challenge.
Come expecting Him to remind you of His grace, hope, and purpose for your life.

And don't come alone. There are people all around us searching for direction, truth, hope, and belonging. Your invitation could be the very thing God uses to change someone's life.

Who are you bringing with you this weekend? 👀

This weekend at GNCC ✨

We’re continuing our “I Am” series in John 14 with one of Jesus’ most powerful statements: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
In a world full of opinions, confusion, and competing voices, Jesus doesn’t simply point toward truth—He says He is the Truth. He doesn’t just show a better path—He says He is the Way.
And He speaks these words to His disciples in the middle of uncertainty, fear, and questions about what was coming next.
That matters.

Because many of us know what it feels like to search for direction, clarity, hope, or purpose in difficult seasons.
This weekend, we’re leaning into what it looks like to truly trust Jesus—not just as part of our lives, but as the foundation for them.

And as we continue moving forward together as a church, let’s be people who are willing to do our part as Kingdom builders. Every invitation matters. Every conversation matters. Every act of obedience matters.

Who in your life needs hope right now?
Who needs direction?
Who needs to know they’re not alone?

Invite them to join you this weekend 💛

What a meaningful weekend together 💛

As we continued our “I Am” series, we stepped into one of Jesus’ most powerful declarations: “I Am the Resurrection and the Life.”

These words were spoken in the middle of grief, heartbreak, confusion, and loss—not in a moment of celebration.

Mary and Martha knew Jesus could have done something. What they wrestled with was His timing.

And if we’re honest… many of us know exactly what that feels like. We trust God until His timeline looks different than ours. We believe He can move until it feels like He waited too long.

But John 11 reminds us of a powerful truth: God’s delay is not God’s absence. What looked like the end became the exact place where Jesus revealed His glory.

As we reflect on Memorial Day, we pause with gratitude to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is costly, and that some victories come through profound sacrifice.

And while Memorial Day reflects a different kind of sacrifice, it does remind us that some of life’s most meaningful moments are often forged in places of pain, courage, surrender, and faith.

Jesus stood at Lazarus’ tomb and didn’t just promise hope for someday. He declared hope for that very moment. Because Jesus is not merely the One who resurrects—He is the Resurrection. He is not simply the giver of life—He is Life itself.
So if you’re walking through something that doesn’t make sense right now, take heart.

The tomb is never the final word when Jesus is involved.

This Sunday at GNCC ✨

We’re continuing our “I Am” series with one of Jesus’ most powerful declarations: “I Am the Resurrection and the Life.”

These words come in the middle of heartbreak, grief, and uncertainty following the death of Lazarus.

What looked like tragedy…
What felt delayed…
What seemed beyond hope…
became a moment where Jesus revealed exactly who He is.

Because sometimes God’s timing doesn’t make sense.
If you’ve ever wondered why something happened the way it did… questioned God’s timing… or walked through a season of disappointment, grief, or uncertainty—this message is for you 💛

And chances are, someone in your life needs this reminder too.
👉 Know someone carrying grief?
👉 Walking through something difficult?
👉 Searching for hope or looking for a church to call home?
Invite them to come with you.

🚨 CAMP UPDATE! 🚨

Just a quick heads up for our church family—Youth Camp is only ONE MONTH away, and there are now only 35 spots left camp-wide with 15 churches attending!

If your student—or someone you know—has been planning to go, now is the time to get registered. Once those spots are gone, they’re gone.

We say this every year because we believe it: camp can be worth up to 9 months of ministry. When distractions are limited and focus is heightened, God often does incredible things in the lives of students and families. 🙌

And don’t forget—Kids Camp and Family Camp deadlines are approaching quickly too! If your family is planning to attend, getting signed up sooner rather than later would be a huge help.
We’d hate for anyone to miss out this year simply because they waited too long.

What an amazing weekend together 🐑✨

As we continued our “I Am” series, we looked at Jesus’ statement in the Gospel of John: “I Am the Gate.”

Jesus gives us such a powerful picture here. A gate protects. A gate provides security. A gate determines what comes in and what stays out.

And if we’re honest, we’ll probably never fully understand all the ways God has protected us:

The doors that never opened.
The relationships that didn’t work out.
The conversations that never happened.
The unseen spiritual battles fought on our behalf.

Then in John 10:10, Jesus makes something incredibly clear: the enemy’s goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus doesn’t stop there. He follows it with a promise: “I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” That abundant life isn’t about stuff, comfort, or having everything go your way:

It’s access to Him.
Peace in chaos.
Hope in uncertainty.
Direction when life feels unclear.

The question is: Will we let Him be the Gate? This week:

👉 Pay attention to what’s gaining access to your heart and mind
👉 Surrender the area you’re trying to control
👉 Refocus quickly when you drift
👉 Choose proximity to Jesus over distraction

And if you’ve been searching for a church home, wondering where you belong, or just looking for a place to reconnect with God—we’d love to invite you to join us this weekend.
There’s a place for you here 💛

This weekend at GNCC 🐑✨

We’re continuing our “I Am” series with one of Jesus’ most powerful statements in the Gospel of John:
“I Am the Gate.”

It may seem like an unusual image at first, but for the people hearing Jesus say it, it would have made perfect sense. In ancient shepherding, the shepherd would often become the gate—placing himself at the entrance of the sheep pen so nothing could come in or go out without going through him.

What a powerful picture of Jesus.
He protects.
He guards.
He leads.
He provides.

It makes you wonder… how many things has God protected us from that we’ll never fully know?

The doors that never opened.
The relationships that didn’t work out.
The unseen battles fought on our behalf.
Sometimes what feels like disappointment may actually be protection.

This weekend, we’re leaning into what it means to trust Jesus as the One who stands between us and what seeks to steal, harm, and destroy—and the One who leads us into life.
We’ll also be sharing an important Beyond These Walls expansion update as we prepare for the next steps ahead.

What a meaningful weekend together 🐑💛 As we continued our “I Am” series, we were reminded of this powerful truth:
✨ “I Am the Good Shepherd.”

Not every voice leading us is worth following.
Fear.
Comfort.
Culture.
Anxiety.
Our own understanding.

There are so many things competing for our attention—but Jesus reminds us that the Good Shepherd leads differently.
He protects.
He provides.
He leads.
He stays.

And when we reflected on Psalm 23, we were reminded that David’s confidence in God didn’t come from theory—it came from years of learning to trust the Shepherd.

So here’s the question for all of us this week: Are we truly allowing Jesus to be our Shepherd?

A few practical ways to lean in this week:
👉 Pay attention to the voices shaping your decisions
👉 Surrender the area you’ve been trying to control
👉 Stay close to the Shepherd through prayer and Scripture
👉 Trust His leading—even when the path doesn’t make sense

Also, a quick reminder about Beyond These Walls: If you haven’t turned in a commitment card yet, you still can! There’s no hard deadline—we’ll continue receiving them throughout the duration of the project. Cards are available at the welcome desk, and online giving remains available as well.
