🙌 We can't wait for this weekend!

Our students are returning from Youth Camp, and we're excited to celebrate all that God has been doing in their lives. Throughout our services, you'll hear stories of transformation, faith, surrender, and the ways God met students this week. We'll also share a camp highlight video so our church family can celebrate together.

Our worship team will be leading us in several of the songs that have been impacting students throughout the week, creating a unique opportunity for our entire church to experience a small glimpse of what God has been doing at camp.

As we continue The Story Behind the Story, Pastor Ben will take us to Mark 8 and the healing of the blind man in a message called Eyes to See. At first, the blind man's vision isn't completely clear. It's a powerful reminder that spiritual growth is often a process. Jesus doesn't just want us to see better—He wants us to see Him more clearly.

Many of our students have experienced that kind of transformation this week. The truth is, God wants to continue doing the same thing in all of us.

👀 What if God wants to open your eyes to something this weekend? Come expectant. Come ready to worship. Come believing that God still changes lives. And don't come alone!

What if the place where your faith grows the most isn't the miracle... but the waiting?

This weekend in The Story Behind the Story, we looked at Jairus, a desperate father, and a woman who had suffered for twelve years. What appeared to be an interruption became an opportunity for Jesus to reveal more of who He is.

In Mark 5, Jesus demonstrates His authority over illness and death. In the chapters surrounding it, He reveals His authority over nature and evil as well. But in the middle of all those miracles is something many of us know well:

Waiting.
Uncertainty.
Questions.

Moments when it feels like God is moving too slowly.
Yet what looked like a delay was actually a revelation.
Jesus wasn't late. He was showing people who He truly was.
And often, He does the same thing in our lives.

Faith is rarely formed in the miracle itself. Faith is often formed in the middle—in the waiting, in the uncertainty, and in the moments when God's plans don't look like ours.

What's even more challenging is what happens next. After all these incredible displays of power, Jesus returns to His hometown and is rejected. The people saw what He did, but they still struggled to trust who He was.

We face that same temptation today. We see God answer prayers. We experience His faithfulness. We witness His goodness. Yet we can still resist His leadership when His plans don't align with our expectations. Faith is not merely believing that Jesus can. Faith is trusting Him when He does—and when He doesn't.

So wherever you find yourself today, stay the course.
Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep following. What feels like an interruption may actually be the place where God is revealing more of Himself.

📖 There's More to the Story...

This weekend, we're kicking off a brand-new series called The Story Behind the Story.

Have you ever walked through a season where God's timing didn't make sense? A season where you prayed, waited, and wondered what He was doing? You're not alone.

In Mark 5, two seemingly separate stories collide as Jesus encounters a desperate father and a woman who had been suffering for years. What appears to be a delay becomes an opportunity for God to reveal something deeper about faith, trust, and His perfect timing.

Sometimes the greatest lessons are found in the moments we didn't expect. Sometimes the miracle isn't just what God does—it's what He teaches us while we wait.

As we begin this new series, we'll discover that there is often more happening beneath the surface than we realize. God is always working, always teaching, and always inviting us to trust Him more deeply.

📖 There's More to the Story...

This weekend, we're launching a brand-new series called The Story Behind the Story. Have you ever read a Bible story and felt like there was more happening than what first meets the eye?
The Gospel of Mark is full of moments like that. Beneath the surface of the miracles, conversations, and encounters with Jesus are deeper lessons about faith, trust, discipleship, and God's Kingdom.

This weekend, we'll begin in Mark 5, where what appears to be two separate miracles is actually one powerful story woven together. Through Jairus, his daughter, and a woman who had been suffering for years, we'll discover what Jesus teaches us about faith in the middle of waiting and trusting God when His timing doesn't match our expectations.

We also wanted to share a quick Beyond These Walls update. We're still waiting for final legal review of our contracts before presenting them to the congregation for a vote. In the meantime, we're incredibly grateful for the response so far. The first wave of Commitment Cards has resulted in approximately $2 million in commitments, and we'll be moving forward with the smaller sanctuary option as we continue to steward this vision faithfully.

What if spiritual maturity is simpler than we make it?

This weekend, as we wrapped up our “I Am” series with Jesus' words, “I Am the Vine,” we discovered four things Jesus highlights in John 15:

🌱 Identity
🌱 Remaining
🌱 Obedience
🌱 Love

So many people are searching for purpose, peace, and fulfillment, yet they're trying to find it apart from the One who created them. Jesus reminds us that our identity is found in Him. When we remain connected to Him, obedience becomes a natural response, and His love begins to transform the way we see God, ourselves, and others.

And here's something worth remembering: 🍇 Fruit is not the focus—it's the result. When we stay connected to Jesus, fruit naturally follows. Lives change. Faith grows. Relationships heal. Hope increases. God is glorified. The goal isn't to try harder.
The goal is to stay connected to the Vine.

As you move through this week, ask yourself:

➡️ Is my identity rooted in Jesus?
➡️ Am I making time to remain connected to Him?
➡️ Am I responding to His promptings?
➡️ Am I loving others the way He loves me?

When those things begin to take root, spiritual growth follows.

Have you ever felt disconnected?
Disconnected from God.

The truth is, many of us spend our lives trying harder, doing more, and searching for answers, only to find ourselves exhausted and wondering why something still feels missing.

This weekend, we’re wrapping up our “I Am” series with Jesus’ words from John 15: 🍇 “I Am the Vine.” Using the imagery of a vine and its branches, Jesus teaches a simple but life-changing truth: the healthiest, most fruitful life is found when we stay connected to Him.

Not because He wants something from us. Because He wants something for us:

Hope.
Purpose.
Peace.
Life.

Whether you've been following Jesus for years, have questions about faith, or haven't stepped foot in a church in a long time, we'd love for you to join us.

🕊️ This weekend we'll also celebrate Communion together and baptisms during our 11:30am service on Sunday as people take their next step in following Jesus.

This weekend, we wrap up our “I Am” series with Jesus' final statement in John 15: 🍇 “I Am the Vine.”

Using the imagery of a vine and its branches, Jesus reminds us of a truth we desperately need: The key to spiritual growth isn't trying harder—it's staying connected.

Our strength comes from Him.
Our purpose comes from Him.
Our ability to bear fruit comes from Him.

In a world constantly pulling at our attention, Jesus invites us to remain connected to the One who gives life. This weekend we'll explore four important aspects of our spiritual journey that Jesus highlights in this passage and what it truly means to abide in Him.

🕊️ We'll also be celebrating Communion together as we begin a new month. 💧 And we're excited to share that beginning this weekend, we'll be offering baptisms on the first weekend of every month! We've always celebrated baptism when people felt prompted, but we're stepping into this season with faith and expectation that God is continually changing lives and drawing people to Himself. If you've placed your faith in Jesus and haven't been baptized, perhaps this is the next step He's calling you to take. Baptisms will take place during the 11:30am service on Sunday.

As you prepare for the weekend, come hungry for more of Jesus. Come expecting Him to move. Come believing He still changes lives. And don't come alone.

Who in your life needs hope? Who needs encouragement? Who needs to know they're loved by God? Your invitation could make an eternal difference.

What a great weekend together 🚗✨

As we continued our “I Am” series, we looked at Jesus' words in John 14: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” One of the questions we wrestled with was this: Is Jesus first in your life?
Not just first on Sunday morning, but first in your:

💰 Finances
🎯 Interests
❤️ Relationships
📅 Schedule
🙏 Troubles

We used the illustration of a GPS. Whenever we miss a turn, get distracted, or decide to go our own way, it immediately begins rerouting us toward the destination. Isn't that what Jesus does?
When we drift, He reroutes. When we wander, He reroutes.
When we lose focus, He reroutes. The beautiful thing about following Jesus is that He never stops calling us back toward Himself.

We also talked about where Jesus sits in the car. Many of us would say He's driving, but if we're honest, we often act like backseat drivers. We trust Him with the wheel while constantly telling Him where to turn. The challenge isn't simply inviting Jesus into the car. The challenge is surrendering control of the route.

This week, take a moment to ask yourself:
👉 What is getting my best?
👉 Am I resisting God's rerouting?
👉 What area of my life have I been trying to manage on my own?
👉 Am I trusting His direction even when I don't understand it?

Jesus doesn't simply show us the way. He is the Way.
And no matter how far we've wandered, He's always ready to lead us back toward His plans, His purpose, and His presence.

What if we came hungry for more of Jesus?
