Their time began with a guided tour, offering them a glimpse into the life of the community—who the sisters are, the history of how they came to Ferdinand, and the rhythm of daily life within the monastery walls.
After the tour, the group gathered in the dining room for a more relaxed time together. What followed was a simple but delightful activity: a game of bingo paired with snacks and laughter. The room quickly filled with excitement as numbers were called, small victories were celebrated, and smiles were shared across generations.
While the game itself was lighthearted, the experience held something deeper. It created a space where the girls and the sisters could connect in a genuine and personal way. Stories were exchanged, laughter bridged any gaps, and new relationships began to form. In those moments, it became clear that community isn’t just about shared beliefs—it’s also about shared joy.
By the end of the afternoon, it wasn’t just the visitors who had been uplifted. The sisters, too, were enriched by the time spent together.
