What happens when what you WANT becomes more important than what God has already GIVEN you?

This Sunday at Cliffdale at the Lake, Pastor Norman Cooper will bring a message from Numbers 11:4–6 titled: “The Opposite of Gratitude”.

The Israelites had experienced God's deliverance and were receiving His provision every day—yet their cravings caused them to complain about what they had and long for what they left behind.

This Sunday, we'll look at how complaining can make us forget what God has already done, how cravings can distort our perspective, and why gratitude protects our hearts.

And when the weight becomes too much to carry? We'll also be reminded that there is no shame in saying, “Lord, I need help.”

What are you trusting when fear shows up?

This Sunday at Cliffdale at the Lake, Pastor Norman Cooper Sr. challenged us with a powerful question through the message "Replacing God?"

It's easy to remember God's faithfulness when life is going well. But when fear takes over, we can find ourselves looking for something—or someone—else to put our trust in.

"Don't let today's fear erase yesterday's faithfulness."

Throughout Scripture, we see God's people forget all He had done for them. Time and time again, God proved Himself faithful, yet fear caused them to seek a substitute instead of trusting the One who had never failed them.

Remember:
• God has never failed you—not once.
• The greatest enemy of faith is a short memory.
• Fear will always ask, "What else can save me?"
• Faith answers, "God already has."

As you walk through this week, take a moment to reflect on God's faithfulness in your own life. The same God who carried you through yesterday is faithful to lead you through today.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." — Proverbs 3:5–6
