The Fivefold Ministry is a term referring to the five ministry roles of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher found in the book of Ephesians. It’s the Biblical blueprint we are given to equip people and grow the Kingdom. Jesus exemplified the perfect ministry during His time on earth and was the full embodiment of all the gifts together. Because Jesus lives in us and through us (Galatia
ns 2:20), we have been called to live as Jesus lived (1 John 2:6) and continue the works He began on Earth (John 14:16). As saints, we have been given the call to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20) and have been given the mission to reconcile all things to God (2 Corinthians 5:17-19). Because Christ lives in us and through us, Our Heavenly Father accomplishes His purposes on Earth through His people (Philippians 2:13). Within each of the saints, we find the various manifestations of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher within the Body of Christ. Each person is given a gift, a role, and a part of the Body to continue the work of Christ. Women have been the backbone of the Kingdom for centuries and have played an active role in every aspect of building the Kingdom; therefore, women are vital to the mission, vision, and success of Our Heavenly Father's Kingdom. Kingdom Shieldmaidens of Salvation is ministry driven, and about ministry service, making a difference that will count for eternity. Although nurturing and social activities play an important part in the overall ministry program, the purpose of such events should be to help meet the needs of women in the ministry; while equipping them for service. Kingdom Shieldmaidens of Salvation aka Kingdom SOS, was developed because of all the women that are searching for answers, looking for help, or just needing guidance in one fashion or another. Every woman has a story, be it of survival, raising a family alone, or building a business, or needing support because of something that happened at work, home, or other. They say it take a village to raise a child, in order to have a village you need that connection with others willing to help. It takes more than a little bit to make it all work, especially if you are a single parent. It is important to have a wonderfully blessed he support of other like minded women to help you build an prosperous, effective life when you are not sure where to begin.
