During our Graduate Recognition Sunday, one of our graduates shared Proverbs 3:5–6:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

While these words are especially meaningful for graduates stepping into a new season, they offer a lesson for all of us. Life often brings uncertainty, and we don't always understand where God is leading. Yet this verse reminds us to trust Him fully, seek His guidance daily, and rely on His wisdom rather than our own.
No matter what season of life we're in, God calls us to place our confidence in Him. When we do, He faithfully directs our steps and leads us along the path He has prepared.

The time for holding our breath is over.

On that first Pentecost, the Holy Spirit didn't gently knock—it burst through locked doors like a hurricane, shattering the disciples' fear and filling them with power to speak, serve, and transform the world. This wasn't a gift for a chosen few, but for ALL believers. Moses once prayed, "Would that all the Lord's people were prophets"—and at Pentecost, God answered that ancient prayer.

The Spirit doesn't erase our differences or force conformity. Instead, it meets us exactly where we are, bridging divides and empowering us to build connections rather than walls. We're not meant to be an audience watching a soloist—we're a living organism, breathing and serving together as the body of Christ.

Inhale the peace of the risen Christ. Exhale the prophetic witness of Acts. The world is gasping for hope—and we've been given the very breath of life to share.
