It is never wise to get caught up in what the future may bring. We should learn to take every day as a gift, and we should also be concerned with the matters of the present. When we think of the future, we should think of it from a perspective of faith. We live in a very unpredictable world where anything can happen at any given moment. When we boast of the future, based on our head knowledge and our own abilities, we are trusting in ourselves and not in God.

The Lord is my shepherd. This means that he has tended to every one of my needs and he has ensured that I am so well taken care of, I will have nothing to crave or desperately desire. In God, we have everything and because of this we can be content, knowing that there is nothing in this world that can fill us the way God does.

The message God has for you today is this: He's always speaking! He's always listening as well. If you're open to it He's always willing to guide and direct your steps into His will, into something that will bless others and draw you even closer to Him. Remember that what God wants is a loving relationship with you.

The Lord's Supper, or "Communion," is a special time for believers to remember the great sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross. The wine represents his shed blood and the bread his broken body. To approach such a solemn ceremony with a flippant attitude is to disrespect Christ and his sacrifice for sin.

Through Jesus Christ alone are we made "alive unto God. " If we are dead to sin, then it wil lose its power over us. If we are alive to God, we will respond in love and obedience to his Word and his Spirit
