Don’t be a spiritual chameleon changing and compromising based on who you are with. Be a light! It may be uncomfortable in the moment but will pay dividends in the long run. Ground yourself in the weight of scripture and live your life as an influence for God.

Memorial Day Picnic!

One of the best things you can do for your family is to be in a church where you can sit around a table, eat a meal, play games, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation as a family bonded in Christ.
No man made connection can replace the simple joy of being with the body of Christ around a table.

Another plus is there were no hospital visits with all the middle aged men trying to relive the “glory days” running around with the pigskin lol
So let’s thank God for his blessing today!

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.
It’s a moment to pause.
To reflect.
To honor the sacrifice of those who never made it home.

May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we live with gratitude because of it.

Here at the Vine we love our Youth. There’s been a growing burden for the next generation.

Teenagers are growing up in a world that is loud, distracted, anxious, and constantly pulling for their attention. More than ever, they need the presence of God, the truth of Scripture, and people willing to walk with them patiently and consistently.

That’s the heart behind Alive.

Every Wednesday at 7PM, students gather to open the Word, worship Jesus, pray together, have honest conversations, and grow in their faith in a real way.

Alive exists to disciple young people, teach them to love Jesus and His Word, and remind them that God is still calling people to Himself.

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…”
— Ecclesiastes 12:1

Please keep praying for this generation, that they would know the voice of God, be grounded in truth, and carry hope into a world that desperately needs it. If you have a teen daughter or son we’d love to have them join us while you attend an Abide Group. If they already attend, invite a friend!

This next generation needs our faithfulness and the love of Jesus.

Ephesians 2:19-22
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

It’s easy to love people who think like us.
Who agree with us.
Who make us comfortable.

But Jesus calls us to see people differently.

Every person you lock eyes with carries the image of God.

That means people have value before they change.
Before they believe.
Before they get their life together.

And honestly… if God has shown us grace, how can we withhold it from others?

The world teaches hostility fast.
Jesus teaches us to see dignity in people.

Even the difficult ones.
Even the overlooked ones.
Even the ones we don’t understand.

People are more than their worst moment.
They’re image bearers.

“See people the way God sees them.”
