What a beautiful morning to reflect on the joy and blessings we experienced at the Bay North Sisters’ Annual Prayer Brunch yesterday! My heart is truly overjoyed as I share this wonderful experience with my Facebook family.

A Day of Fellowship and Empowerment

The event was nothing short of amazing, showcasing the incredible spirit of our sisters from both campuses. From the program to the food and the meticulous coordination and design, everything was infused with the love of Christ. It was a testament to our unity and commitment to uplifting one another.

Special Acknowledgments

• Presenters: A heartfelt thank you to our presenters, Sister LaShell Hopkins, Roxie Sanders and Alicia Jones, whose stories enriched and blessed us all.

• Mistress of Ceremony: Special thanks to Rashida Cannon for stepping up as the Mistress of Ceremony and doing a fantastic job guiding us through the day.

• Historical Insights: A special mention to Marcia Brown and Maddie Williams, who provided us with insightful historical context that reminded us of our rich heritage and the strength we draw from our past.

Closing Remarks and Powerful Prayer

My wife, First Lady Sonia Morris, delivered phenomenal closing remarks that resonated with all of us. We were then blessed by a powerful prayer led by Sister Deborah Howell, sending us forth with renewed purpose and strength.

Scriptural Reflection

As we reflect on this wonderful gathering, I’m reminded of Philippians 1:3-5: “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” This scripture perfectly encapsulates the spirit of togetherness and the joy we share in our fellowship.

Thank you to each sister who poured their heart and soul into making this event fruitful. You exemplified excellence, humility, and love—a more excellent way! God bless you all.
