We at Sunrise Scranton are so excited to let you know about an upcoming project we are partnering on! Coming up on June 11th from 7pm - 9pm there with be a solar panel work shop with NEPA DSA, Solidarity TV, and ourselves. The event will focus on how to use and operate solar panels and incorporating it into your lives. There will also be discussions on the benefits a community will see with a collectively managed energy grid and the impacts that has. If you seem interested and would like to attend we would love to have you there! While we may be individual sunbeams, together we can light the way to a brighter future.

Join Wyoming Valley CUUPS for our online Beltane ritual via Zoom!

Beltane is the first of the Fire Festivals. In Ireland in the old days, the hearth fires would all be put out and then relit from the central fire of Ireland. The torches bearing flame from the central fire carried both the practical benefits of fire for warmth, cooking and forging and the spiritual ones: transformation, strength, the spark of life.

This year's Zoom Beltane ritual will focus on rekindling our own sacred flame within.

To participate, you will need to be in a space where you can turn off any lights.

Also, please have ready
~a candle, candleholder and matches/lighter nearby
~ An oil or perfume you would like to use to anoint yourself

Full Moon Labyrinth Walk - World Labyrinth Day | Saturday, May 2nd, 2026
Tonight! 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Join us this evening as we celebrate World Labyrinth Day - a global event observed each year on the first Saturday of May, inviting people around the world to walk as one, for peace, reflection, and connection. We’re honored to be part of that collective intention right here in the Wyoming Valley.
We’ll be walking indoors tonight - it’s a chilly one out there! The labyrinth will be beautifully lit and the space will be warm and welcoming, so come as you are and settle in.
Tonight’s Offerings:
• Tarot and Oracle Card Readings - gentle guidance and reflection available throughout the evening
• Coffee and Tea - warm up with a cup and good conversation
There is no formal ritual or ceremony. This is an open, welcoming space to simply be - walk at your own pace, breathe deeply, and connect with the moment, knowing that thousands of others are doing the same across the globe.
