Welcome to Deacon Chase Reicker!

Deacon Chase is one of two Seminarians assigned to our parish for the summer.

"Hi my name is Deacon Chase Riecker and I am from St. Isidore parish in Celestine, Indiana. Before going to seminary, I stayed at the House of Discernment for 1 year where I developed a deeper prayer life and real confidence that God was calling me to the priesthood. After that, I studied philosophy for 3 years at Bishop Simon Brute in Indianapolis. Over the past 3 years I have been studying theology at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in St. Louis, and am preparing to enter my final semester this fall. On April 18th I was ordained to the Diaconate and it has been a tremendous grace to receive so many prayers over these past couple of months, and for that, thank you! I look forward to getting to know and pray with you all over this summer.”

This weekend is the Feast of Corpus Christi. There will be a special procession immediately after the 10am Mass, followed by lunch in the Cafetorium.
Marx BBQ will provide pulled pork, mac&cheese, green beans, and augratin potatoes. Please bring a side or dessert to share!
