Message Reminder #1 from 5/31/26 "How Christians Deal with the Pain"

Don't get stuck on the wrong side of the cross.

Don't get stuck on, "How will I ever get through this?"

If you're asking that question right now—about grief, a wayward child, a broken relationship—you might be asking it on the wrong side of the cross. ✝

We're like half-read books, thinking we're at the final chapter when we're really just in the middle of the story. The Author of your life always writes a happy ending.

After the cross comes the resurrection.

Romans 8:28 promises that God causes ALL things to work together for good. You may not see it yet, but your ending is secure.

Don't give up before you turn the page. 📖

5/24/26 - Message Reminder #2 - When You Fail

When you sin, your first instinct might be to run away from God out of shame.

But here's the truth: Jesus gives us the freedom to fail and be clean, but never the freedom to leave and be clean.

When you sin, don't stop abiding in Him. That's not the time to run—that's the time to stay connected. Go to Him. The very resource you need is found in His presence.

Your greatest sin isn't in the sinning—it's in the leaving.

Stay connected to Jesus.

5/24/26 - Sermon Reminder #1 (turn up the volume for the "voice of God."

Feeling exhausted from trying to do everything for God?

Here's what I learned: I was trying to be FOR Christ instead of being IN Christ. I saw my responsibilities as obstacles to a godly life when God wanted to meet me right there in the middle of them.

The Christian life isn't found in doing—it's found in abiding. Like a branch connected to a vine, we don't produce fruit by working harder. We grow by staying connected to Jesus.

What would change if you stopped striving and started abiding?

"I don't want to live a trivial life; I want to live a triumphant life." 💪

And here's the secret: It comes by, and only by, abiding in Christ.

Not by doing more. Not by trying harder. But by staying connected to the Vine.

Today, we're going to pray a dangerous prayer together—one that will get you off the sidelines and into the greatest adventure of all time.

Are you ready to move from spectator to participant in God's story?

Your message reminder #2 from Sunday 5/17 -- Jesus Understands

Did you know that Jesus experienced loneliness too?

In the Garden of Gethsemane, facing the cross, He asked His closest friends to stay awake with Him—just for an hour. They fell asleep. Three times. And Jesus said, "Guys! I needed you—for just an hour—and you were sleeping?!" (Matthew 26:40)

Jesus didn't just come to fix our loneliness. He came to experience it with us. When you walk through dark times, He's not watching from a distance—He's walking right beside you, because He's been there too.

You have a Savior who truly understands. 🙏

Sometimes God feels distant. Sometimes we feel forgotten. Sometimes we wonder if He reallyshows up.

Here's the truth we're unpacking Sunday: Your loneliness isn't a sign that God is absent—it's actually a sign of His presence and His love for you.

Sound confusing? Join us as we explore how loneliness drives us to Jesus—and why that makes it a gift.
