Sunday, 5/21/26 -- "Good theology is the most practical thing in the world."

You might be thinking: "I've got real problems—mortgage payments, family struggles, kids who won't listen. Why should I care about theology?"

Here's why: What you believe in your mind is ultimately manifested in the way you live. (Proverbs 23:7)

This Sunday we're beginning 1 John, and we'll discover why getting our beliefs right isn't just academic—it's the foundation for everything else. John wrote to protect his spiritual children
from heresies that were creeping into the church, heresies that would destroy how they lived.

The same dangers exist today. Join us as we learn to think rightly so we can live rightly.

This Sunday -- 6/21/26 -- We are beginning a new series, diving deep into the letters of John—and we're starting with 1 John, going word-by-word, line-by-line.

Why? Because we, the Santa Clara Church, NEED to spend time here. John wrote as a spiritual father to his beloved children, and his words speak directly to the challenges we face today.

Get ready to meet our friend John—the Apostle of Love who started out as a "Son of Thunder." His journey from rough-edged disciple to beloved elder will challenge and encourage us all.

See you Sunday! 🙏

Ever wondered what God is really like? 🤔

Is He a distant grandfather? An impersonal force? A wrathful judge?

This Sunday we're looking at how Jesus addressed God in prayer—and what that reveals about who God actually is (and who He is for you).

What does your prayer life reveal about you? 🙏

This Sunday, we're diving into John 17—Jesus' real Lord's Prayer. You can tell a lot about a person by the prayers they pray... and even more about the God they're praying to.

Join us as we discover what Jesus' prayer reveals about the Father who loves you.

Message Reminder #1 from 5/31/26 "How Christians Deal with the Pain"

Don't get stuck on the wrong side of the cross.

Don't get stuck on, "How will I ever get through this?"

If you're asking that question right now—about grief, a wayward child, a broken relationship—you might be asking it on the wrong side of the cross. ✝

We're like half-read books, thinking we're at the final chapter when we're really just in the middle of the story. The Author of your life always writes a happy ending.

After the cross comes the resurrection.

Romans 8:28 promises that God causes ALL things to work together for good. You may not see it yet, but your ending is secure.

Don't give up before you turn the page. 📖
