Sermon Recap
Our persistent prayer proclaims our dependent faith.
You may find yourself asking, "why should I pray? The world is full of pain, suffering, and injustice"
Jesus gives us these 3 reasons:
1.) God listens - He is personal and omniscient. Prayer doesn't draw God near to us, it draws us near to Him.
2.) God answers - Not always with a "yes," sometimes with a, "no" or even a, "not yet"
3.) God will bring justice - God restores His people, calling us by our true name in Christ: precious, honored, beloved, child. And, He will avenge the sin committed against His people.
He displays this perfect justice through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. And prayer is the blood-bought privilege for all who are in Christ.
So don't stop praying, because our persistent prayer proclaims our dependent faith.
Special thanks to for bringing the Word this past Sunday.
