Sermon Recap

Our persistent prayer proclaims our dependent faith.

You may find yourself asking, "why should I pray? The world is full of pain, suffering, and injustice"

Jesus gives us these 3 reasons:

1.) God listens - He is personal and omniscient. Prayer doesn't draw God near to us, it draws us near to Him.

2.) God answers - Not always with a "yes," sometimes with a, "no" or even a, "not yet"

3.) God will bring justice - God restores His people, calling us by our true name in Christ: precious, honored, beloved, child. And, He will avenge the sin committed against His people.

He displays this perfect justice through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. And prayer is the blood-bought privilege for all who are in Christ.

So don't stop praying, because our persistent prayer proclaims our dependent faith.

Special thanks to for bringing the Word this past Sunday.

Sermon Recap

Run to the Throne, with Confidence

There’s a lie that many of us believe
“before I go to God, I need to clean up my act”
“before I go to God, I need to prove that I’m sorry”

Do you know what that reveals?
Your confidence isn’t in Jesus...
It’s in yourself.

And when your confidence is in yourself, you won’t run to God,
the fear of the Throne of Judgement will keep you away.
But, through the sacrifice of Christ,
The Throne of Judgement becomes the Throne of Grace.

Jesus is the one who cleansed you
Jesus is the one who purified you
Jesus bore the punishment, so that we might approach the Father with confidence

So, in any moment,
whatever condition you’re in
Run.

Not because you earned it,
but because what Jesus did, is done.

NEW SERIES SNEAK PEEK!

Swipe through to reveal our next sermon series on prayer.

Over the next four weeks, we will walk through our newest sermon series: A Praying Family.

Oftentimes, many of us feel like we don’t pray enough, we don’t know how to pray, or - if we are really honest - we don’t see the point of prayer. If you feel shame and discouragement, with your prayer life constantly hovering around a 4-out-of-10, or if you feel like prayer distracts you from things that seem more productive, efficient, or important, this series is for you.

Together, we will look at prayer; what it is, what it is not, and why it is such a massive gift, one that we freely receive through faith in the finished work of Christ.

We know that prayer is not how we gain or maintain a right standing with God. Jesus Christ has already secured that for us through His life, death, and resurrection. Prayer is the gracious invitation to enjoy the relationship into which God has brought us.

Our hope is that this series would be a breath of fresh air—challenging, encouraging, and motivating you to cultivate a deeper prayer life both personally and within your church family.

Sermon Recap:

The greatest victory has already been won.

You’ve probably heard the phrase “it is finished” before, and maybe it makes you wonder, “why does the enemy still bring so much pain into my marriage, my relationships, my church, etc?”

Here’s the truth: the war has been won. Completely. Finally. But the enemy hasn’t surrendered. He works quietly. Subtly. Persistently. Sowing lies into your life, your home, your faith.

But you don’t stand in your own strength. Put on the righteousness of Christ. His truth. His peace. His victory - now yours. You can - and will - stand firm in the strength of His might.
