Stop asking, “Why is God taking so long?” and start asking, “Am I ready to steward what I’ve been praying for?”
God isn’t just interested in getting you to the destination—He’s interested in preparing you to sustain it. Blessing without stewardship can become a burden. Deliverance without discipleship can lead to relapse. Victory without responsibility can be quickly lost.
The waiting season may actually be your training season.
So ask yourself:�• Am I ready to manage the opportunity?�• Am I ready to steward the influence?�• Am I ready to handle the increase God wants to entrust to me?

The walls of Jericho weren’t the only thing Joshua was trying to keep from falling.
He was protecting the atmosphere.
One generation talked themselves out of the Promise Land with fear-filled words. Joshua wasn’t going to let it happen twice.
You can’t constantly speak defeat and expect victory.�You can’t rehearse fear and expect faith.�You can’t complain your way into possession.

David’s advantage wasn’t his sling. It was his covenant.
While everyone else was focused on the size of Goliath, David was focused on the fact that Goliath had no covenant with the living God.
The giant had size.
The giant had a reputation.
The giant had a voice.
But he had no legal right to stand against God’s covenant people.
Because of the blood of Jesus, you are in covenant with God. When the enemy comes against you, don’t magnify the giant—magnify the covenant.
