Wade in the Living Water Ministry

Wade in the Living Water Ministry We are volunteers within the Oklahoma DOC at 5 Oklahoma & 11 Texas TDCJ M/W facilities. Grace and Peace
Eph 6:12 We take the great commission very seriously.

We are under the anointing, leadership & mantle of Pastors Scott & Melody Betts of Awakening The Fire Ministry. Wade in the Living Waters Ministry was birthed in the hearts of Ron and Laura Wade in the spring of 2016. When Matthew writes in Chapter 28:18-20: 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples o

f all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. We fully believe it. Also when Luke writes in Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

We believe in and practice lifestyle evangelism in our secular job where we witness and disciple those who we work with. We believe in taking this life saving message of Christ out into the real world by any means possible. We do not believe in a catch and release philosophy of winning a convert and then immediately releasing them back into the wild. This is not only irresponsible but also against Yeshua’s final commandment to make disciples of all nations. Disciples are made in relationships. We believe that faith is action, faith cannot be dormant. Faith without works is dead. So we also very actively operate in Matthew 25:31-46 whenever we are led by the Spirit. "What you have done to the least of my brethren, you have done unto me." Ours is a very boots on ground ministry. On foreign missions Ron has traveled several times to Tecate, and Tijuana Mexico and once to Uganda visiting the cities of Kampala, Mbarara and the bush surrounding Mbarara. He has participated in several state side missions like Hurricane Katrina Relief. Together, Ron and Laura have traveled to Cap Haiten, Haiti to spread the good news. Locally, stateside, we assist in a food pantry, handing out a weeks’ worth of food to 150 families. We have been known to participate in paint the neighborhood where teams from different ministries are partnered together to strip and paint three houses in one day. We led a team down to Houston for Hurricane Harvey Relief. From 2019 - 2024 we were facilitating Victory Bible College at James Crabtree CC medium security men's prison. In July 2020, we became Volunteer Assistant Chaplains in that same facility. We lead teams going into that facility for evangelism crusades. We also go into three other facilities in Oklahoma, Mabel Bassett CC (Women's), Great Plains CC (Men's) & Enid Community CC (Men's). Our new missionary effort sees us partnering with Freedom in Jesus Prison Ministry going into Texas Department of Criminal Justice Facilities. Thus far, we have conducted Evangelistic Crusades and one-on-one Evangelism with those in solitary confinement in five different facilities, most being Super Maximum Security facilities. He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And broke their chains in pieces. Psalm 107:14 (NLJV)

Taking the Good News of the Gospel of Christ from Hollywood Blvd to the prisons and to the ends of the world! We offer to officiate weddings from a nondenominational charismatic Christian perspective. Believing in the traditional view of marriage being between a man and woman. Six weeks of marriage consultation with Reverends Ron & Laura are required prior to the wedding ceremony. We will encourage the couple to examine and explore the book, "5 Love Languages" with the application of the concepts into their relationship. Ron has written:

OUR BELIEFS
WE BELIEVE that there is one living and true GOD, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all things (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:8 and 48:16; Matthew 28:19-20; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:3). WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired, without error, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. The Word of God is the foundation upon which this church operates, and is the basis for which this church is governed. We believe that the Word of God supersedes any earthly law that is contrary to the Holy Scriptures. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:3-4 and 1:21). WE BELIEVE in the person of God the Father, an infinite, eternal, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ (Deuteronomy 33:27; Psalm 90:2; Psalm 102:27; John 3:16 and 4:24; 1 Timothy 1:17; Titus 1:3). WE BELIEVE in the person of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth (Isaiah 7:14; Micah 5:2; Matthew 1:23; Mark 16:19; Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-2, 8:58 and 11:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 1:2; Revelation 1:8). WE BELIEVE in the person of the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ (Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 3:18; John 16:8-11; Romans 8:26 and 15:13,16; Hebrews 9:14). WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide (John 6:13, 14:16-17 and 16:8-11; Romans 8:26). WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, and in the exercise of all biblical gifts of the Spirit according to the instructions given to us in 1 Corinthians 12-14. WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by nature and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God saves and regenerates, based upon faith (by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit), by repenting of their sins, and confessing Jesus Christ as Lord (Acts 8:15-17; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8-9; Romans 3:23 and 5:8; Titus 3:5). WE BELIEVE in the universal church, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the head, and all who are born again are a part of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:15-16). WE BELIEVE that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church: (a) full immersion water baptism of believers (an outward expression of what God has done inwardly), and (b) the Lord's Supper - Communion (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19-20; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26). We also believe that Jesus Christ validated the ordinance of marriage (Matthew 19:4-5 and John 2:1-11). WE BELIEVE in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, which is His personal, visible, return to earth and the establishment of His millennial kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous, and endless separation of the wicked (Matthew 16:27; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16, 20:11-15). WE BELIEVE in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell, and that all those who place their faith, hope, and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord, while those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from the Lord (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 5:3, 5:22, 18:9 and 25:31-34; Mark 9:42-49; Luke 12:5; John 3:18; Hebrews 12:23; 1 Peter 1:4; Revelation 14:10-11 and 20:11-15).

So, it is Monday, and we are just now witnessing the last of the dust settling from a very busy weekend. But this Monday is like none other! As we are still in the afterglow of a strong move of the Holy Spirit! This Monday has been weeks, months, 2 years, and even 19 years and 11 months in the making!

In the last several weeks, several obstacles or challenges seemed to want to thwart this weekend from happening. This weekend was 3 and a half months in the making for the proper paperwork to make it happen with ODOC. This weekend was 2 years in the making, as both Christina and Armondo were slated to come into Crabtree 2 years ago. Weeks prior to that scheduled event, Armondo was at work, and the earth tried to swallow him up whole. The ditch that he was digging caved in on him, crushing in on him with several tons of dirt. He survived this incident and is still thriving in the Lord! This weekend was 19 years and 11 months in the making. Nineteen years and eleven months ago to the day, Audry was forced to visit her stepfather abuser, after which she vowed never to return. But God, she did return to speak love over men with the same charges as her stepfather abuser.

On Friday, June 5, we conducted four services. The first service was given by Brother Leroy and Sister Audrey. Over the last two months, there has been a significant transition on the yard at Crabtree. Brother Leroy’s brand of ministry in song and light-hearted humor was used to break the ice and take away the edge of those in attendance. Sister Audry led us into deep worship. The presence of the Holy Spirit was unmistakable this day. This led to a very powerful testimony by Sister Audry. There were 113 in attendance for the first service. Resulting in 45 men coming up for prayers. Seven men praying the sinner's prayer for the first time. Five men prayed a prayer of rededication. Five men are scheduled for next Friday for the waters of baptism.

The presence of the Holy Spirit did not leave! As others came in for the second service, several mentioned an awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit. The second service saw Sister Audry and Brother Armondo leading in worship to our Heavenly Father. Brother Amondo and Sister Christina gave their powerful testimony of forgiveness expressed by the Father and as extended to fellow mankind. Seventy-three men were in attendance, resulting in twenty men coming up for prayer, three for rededication, and one for salvation.

The third service was the Hispanic Church, with Sister Christina and Brother Armondo. Brother Armondo joined the Hispanic worship team to bring in the worship of the Father. Sister Christina gave her testimony of forgiving face-to-face her daughter’s murderer. Brother Armondo gave a passionate word from the Throne Room of Grace. There were 39 in attendance, resulting in five coming forward for prayers and two for salvation.

The fourth service at the Minimum yard saw Brother Leroy ministering in song and Sister Audry leading worship, followed by her testimony. There were fifteen in attendance, resulting in five coming forward for prayers.

The manifest presence of the Holy Spirit continued into Saturday, I arranged for Audrey, Christina & Armondo to be on the podcast Rooster AM. The 5 of us invaded the Nelson home. With the 7 of us coming together, the body of Christ, we lifted His name in worship in such an honest and childlike way. The presence of the Holy Spirit was tangible and visible in the tears flowing from all. The Holy Spirit turns the soil of souls, of our hearts, and the seeds planted are watered by those tears. Spiritual and emotional healing was experienced this day.

June 6th at Enid Community Correctional Center, Sisters Audry, Christina, and Laura gave testimony and word, resulting in five coming forward for prayers.

Afterward, we convened at a local Brahms for ice cream and fellowship. Eagle-eyed Brother Armondo noticed a Hispanic man in need of Jesus! He went over to him and spoke with this man with the boldness of the Holy Spirit. He prayed the prayer of repentance to our Gracious Heavenly Father!

June 7th, the anointing continued! At the Hotel, Sister Audry was led to speak with three different individuals in the lobby. All three prayed the prayer of repentance! Meanwhile, Brother Armondo and Sister Christina, who were staying at the Best Western Glow, when they finished breakfast, they saw a group of unhomed individuals over at the Enid Library. There were nine there, and so Brother Armondo and Sister Christina conducted church there! Six men prayed the prayer for repentance. Brother Armondo and Sister Christina left and brought back breakfast for these men.

The Texas crew joined us for Church at Awakening the Fire Ministries.

Great Plains Correctional Center, I am not diminishing what has already happened, but it is almost like the Holy Spirit left the best for last! Our schedule at GPCC is that we go in after the Jehovah's Witnesses have their service. We arrived early, and lo and behold, the JW’s had finished their service early! So when we got into the chapel, we set up Sister Audrie’s keyboard, and she was able to lead worship for close to 40 minutes, twice as much as we normally have. So free was the attitude of worship that several men were up at the altar in worship! She followed up by giving her testimony. Sister Christine quickly swooped in with her testimony without missing a beat! So fluid was the transition between each speaker, only the Holy Spirit! Brother Armondo finished with a word and testimony of running from God. There were 79 in attendance. This resulted in twenty-four salvations, eighteen others coming forward for prayers of forgiveness.

So, in all our services and other extracurricular activities, we saw 277 in attendance, resulting in 45 salvations, 27 rededications, and 5 planned baptisms. This is only what we can objectively assess; we of course do not see into the hearts of men who remained silent at this time.

No words can do justice for what happened this weekend! Lives were touched by a loving Father, and destinies were forever changed! Praise His Holy Name! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

You know the old saying about all work and no play, well, we did play a little. We went on my “Early Oral Roberts” tour, visiting his first church, the former Phillips University, Dorms where he was healed of tuberculosis, and where he conducted his first healing service at the Enid Municipal auditorium. We also got “our kicks on Route 66.”
