The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Historic site and home of the first American-born saint. This was the home of Elizabeth Ann Seton from 1809 until her death in 1821.

The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton is located in historic Emmitsburg, MD, a small town in the foothills of the beautiful Catoctin Mountain, part of the Blue Ridge Mountain chain. Her remains are entombed here in the Basilica that bears her name. V

Traveling on the East Coast this weekend? Stop by on Sunday for Mass! Located 1.5 hours from Washington, D.C and just 10 minutes from Gettysburg, the Seton Shrine is conveniently located just off of Route 15.

Mass will be available Sunday at 11am and 1:30pm.

🍇 Check out the local wineries (There's two just five minutes from the Shrine!)
🥾 Catoctin State Park has a waterfall, incredible hiking trails, and even a beach! (Ten minutes from the Shrine!)
