Updated Post from my old blog: This message still rings true today. (5/4/25)

Sometimes the worst pain, the worst memories, the worst heartache comes from the people who love you. And when we are in those moments, it seems we won’t get beyond the hurt. Sometimes the people who love you leave you with indelible prints from not so great moments, when the wrong things were said and done. Our trials are never wanted. But they are necessary if we are to come closer to God. Please know that God ALWAYS has answers for the situations in your life. They may not always be the answers you want. But if your faith be in Him, the faithful father, then you must listen and abide. We must seek refuge in Him; in His answers. If you know Him to be true and real, full of grace and mercy, forgiving and unbroken, then you know that He is your shield and your sword. If you know that He has great plans for you, then you know that you can stand on His word. If you know that He never changes, then you know that you can stand on His strength. Study and live in His word. For in it, there are great promises, truths and sacrifices made just for you. Promises that save, Truths that deliver and sacrifices that make any wrong done to you small and insignificant, compared to the blessings you receive here and the rewards and blessings to come. Give Him your praise and glory and His comfort will surround you no matter what. This may not be your best day when you depend on yourself to settle things, but it is your best day in Christ when you place your concerns at His feet. Let Him lead and trust Him to win every battle. God Bless you and enjoy this day no matter what. For this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. Love y’all!

Happy Easter Sunday everyone! God had a guaranteed plan all along. James 1:17 (NLT) says: "Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow."
This is a promise to us that we can trust whatever comes from Him. His love for us, His sacrifice, His faithfulness, His grace, His mercy and His kindness toward us will never change. We can rely on Him and His plan always. What a gift we have in Christ Jesus who laid down his life for us! He is risen with all power in His hands! Happy Resurrection Day!
