Every Sunday, the announcement is made that “A prayer team will be available in Easter Chapel during Communion.” Perhaps you are wondering what that means? Prayer teams are just one of the ways members of St. Clement’s pray for one another. Prayer teams during Communion offer prayer for any type of request in a small, private setting. Our teams have received training in this very personal type of Body ministry. Over the years we have seen many answers to these prayers, as the ones who have received prayer report what God has done. So, the next time you hear this announcement, consider going to a prayer team after you have received the Sacrament. They would love to pray for you!

Almighty God, by Your gift alone we come to wisdom and true understanding: Look with favor, we pray, on our universities, colleges, and schools, that knowledge may be increased among us, and wholesome learning flourish and abound. Bless those who teach and those who learn; and grant that in humility of heart they may ever look to You, the fountain of all wisdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Wishing all of the teachers and students in our church community a blessed academic year. We especially pray for St. Clement's Parish School as they begin their school year today.

Our Youth Group went to camp last month and here is a brief recap from our Youth Ministry Director: “The theme for camp this year was The Good Shepherd and we spent the whole week working through Psalm 23 and the life of David. Every day had a different emphasis and theme such as: the good peace, the good restoration, and the good presence. The main sessions were impactful and many of our students said their camp Bible studies helped clarify things for them about each day’s topic. God did great things and we are so grateful to have been a part of it.”
