The 4th annual Walnut River Revival will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the USD 490 Performing Arts Center in El Dorado. Doors open at noon. Program will be from 1pm to 4pm. Come join us for an uplifting afternoon of Christian fellowship as we praise and glorify Jesus Christ! You won't want to miss our special guest speaker, Bruce Van Natta, as he shares his amazing testimony! The Treblemakers and the Beggarman Ministries House Band will be performing gospel favorites. In addition, several of our area's nonprofit organizations will be on hand sharing information about the services they provide. All this and more! Hope to see you there! God bless!

I HAVE GOOD INTENTIONS FOR YOU. They may be radically different from what you hoped or expected, but they are nonetheless good. I am Light; in Me there is no darkness at all. So look for My Light in all your circumstances. I am abundantly present in your moments. Your assignment is to be open to Me and My ways with you. Sometimes this requires relinquishing things you had planned or dreamed. You need to remember and wholeheartedly believe that My way is perfect, no matter how hard it is. I am a shield for all who take refuge in Me. When you’re feeling afflicted or afraid, come to Me and say: “ Lord, I take refuge in You.” I don’t shield you from things I intend for you to deal with, for you have an important part to play in this world. However, I protect you from more dangers and troubles than you can imagine. So make every effort to live the life I have assigned to you. Do this in joyful dependence on Me, and your soul will be richly satisfied. 1 John 1:5; Psalm 18:30; 1 Corinthians 7:17; Psalm 63:5

COME TO ME, BELOVED. I continually invite you to draw near Me. Be still in My Presence, and fix your thoughts on Me. Relax and listen to My Love whispering in your heart:” I have loved you with an everlasting Love.” Meditate on the glorious truth that I am with you always. You can build your life on this rock-solid reality! The world you inhabit is constantly in flux-you will find no solid ground there. So I challenge you to remain aware of Me as you go about your day. You won’t be able to do this perfectly, but I’ll help you when you ask. You can pray:” Jesus, keep me aware of Your Presence.” Let these words echo through your heart and mind frequently. Though your thoughts will sometimes go elsewhere, this simple prayer can draw you back to Me. The more of Me you have in your life- through staying close to Me-the more joyful you will be and the more I can bless others through you. Hebrews 3:1; Jeremiah 31:3; Mathew 28:29-20z

LOVE IS PATIENT. Notice that the very first adjective the apostle Paul uses to describe love is “ patient.” I treasure this quality in My followers, even though it is not highly visible in most twenty-first-century depiction of love. Patience people can stay calm while enduring lengthy waits or dealing with difficult people and problems. I encourage you to examine your own life: to see how you respond to waiting and difficulties. This will give you a good measure of how patient-how loving-you are. “ Patience “ is listed fourth in the fruit of the Spirit. My Spirit will help you grow in this important character trait, especially as you ask Him. Some Christians are afraid to pray for patience. They fear that I’ll answer their prayer by subjecting them to serve suffering and trails. However, suffering serves an important purpose in My Kingdom, and trails are not optional. They come so that your faith may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory, and honor to Me. 1 Corinthians 14:4; Galatians 5:22-23: 1 Peter 1;6/7

LET MY PEACE PROTECT your mind and heart. Remember that I am near, and rejoice in My abiding Presence. Spend ample time with Me, presenting your request to Me with thanksgiving. This is the way to receive My Peace that transcends understanding. This is how I guard your heart and your mind. It’s a collaborative, you-and-I-together effort. You never face anything alone! For Christians,aloneness is an illusion-a dangerous one that can lead to depression or self-pity. The devil and his underlings work hard to cloud your awareness of My Presence. It’s crucial for you to recognize and resist their attacks. Fight back with My powerful Word, which is living and active. Read it: ponder it; memorize it: speak it. Even if you’re feeling alone, you can talk freely with Me-trusting that I am with you always. The longer you communicate with Me, the more convinced you’ll become of My nearness. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to Me, and I will come close to you. Philippians 4:4-7; Hebrews 4:12; Mathew 28:20; James 4:7-8.

IF I AM FOR YOU, who can be against you? Beloved, I most assuredly am for you since you are My Follower. Of course, this doesn’t mean that no one will ever oppose you. It means that having Me on your side is the most important fact of your existence. Regardless of what happens in your life, you are on the winning side! I already won the victory through My death and resurrection. I am the eternal Victor, and you share in My triumph- no matter how much adversity you encounter on your journey to heaven. Ultimately, nothing and no one can prevail against you because you belong to Me forever. Knowing that your future is utterly secure can change your perspective dramatically. Instead of living in defensive mode-trying desperately to protect yourself from suffering-you learn to follow Me boldly, wherever I lead. I am training you not only to see My Face and follow My lead but to enjoy this adventure of abandoning yourself to Me. Remember: I am your ever-present Help in trouble. Romans 8:32; Psalm 27:8; Psalm 46:1
