Elementary - Remind your kiddo that God can give us the strength to be gentle. Why is it sometimes hard to be gentle?

PreK - Go outside and try carrying an egg with a plastic spoon. Talk about how you have to be gentle or the egg will fall and break. When you're done, talk about how Jesus gives us the power to be gentle with our words and actions so we don't hurt people.

PreK - Play with your dog. If you don't have a dog, visit a family member or neighbor's dog. Talk about how dogs are faithful because they are always ready to play, even when we're grumpy or having a bad day. Jesus gives us the power to be faithful too!
