Kyle currently serves as a Spiritual Health Clinician at Fred Hutch Cancer Center, where he supports patients and families through times of grief and loss. In his service this Sunday titled "Beeing Human," Kyle will be sharing lessons from bees and from chaplaincy, both of which have a lot to teach us about the importance of community. Dr. Behrend writes: Freedom is a foundational concept of our faith as Unitarian Universalists. We will explore the inner and outer worlds of freedom, belonging and being, the work of making soul. As we face increasingly challenging times, we need to fully embrace all of our selves, and remember the stories of our own longing for freedom from oppression in all its guises.
