Edgar Community Youth enjoyed a Back-to-School Cookout at Oak Street Park. The students prayed for their upcoming school year and participated in a rubber chicken fling, capture the flag, and ultimate frisbee. Praying for a great school year for all of the teachers and students!

We've been learning about peace lately. In the Bible, peace doesn't mean everything in our lives is calm, still, or perfect. Rather, Biblical peace is a wholeness or soundness that is given to all followers of Jesus, even in the midst of hard times (Psalm 85:8). Peace isn't something we earn, achieve, or obtain. Instead, peace is a Christian's free and constant reality through Christ.

Interestingly, the Bible has a lot to say about peace and the words we use (and don't use). Be sure to watch the August 23 worship service video for more insights, and in the meantime, check out the following reflection questions.
