Rib Falls United Methodist Church 10:00 am Sunday Worship service. Our doors are open to all who would like to join us! Communion: 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month.

All who have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior are welcome to partake of the sacrament Holy Communion. “God’s message is near you, on your lips and in your heart.” That is the message of faith that we preach. If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we a

re saved. So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ.

PRAYER FOR PUTTING AWAY CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

THE CHRISTMAS SEASON OFFICIALLY ENDS TODAY. Let us offer this prayer as we put away our Christmas decorations:

Lord Jesus, today we put away our Christmas decorations.

We now enter Ordinary Time, and our home looks ordinary again.

But Lord, You know and we know that even without the decorations, the joy of Christmas remains in our home. Its blessing stays with us, kept in the quiet corners of our home.

Our lives may return to what seems ordinary, but through our baptism, Your grace lives within us. This grace remains in the deep, quiet places of our hearts.

Help us live the spirit of Christmas every day, even without the decorations:
— to give generously,
— receive thankfully,
— welcome others,
— and follow Your life.

May our home always carry the heart of Christmas,
and may our souls be a dwelling place where You always live.

Amen.

Please pray for our congregation as we once again begin the search for a new minister. We wish Pastor Alan Alfaro and his family the best as they begin their new ministry in South Carolina. We will miss the Alfaros and their wonderful spiritual guidance that they brought the Rib Falls United Methodist Church.❤️
