“THANKS A MILLION!”
The "Thanks a Million!" Program is off to a good start. It is not a sprint, it is a marathon; meaning it will take a few years to reach our goal. Why is this program so important?
1. The southwest region of Madagascar, where we support most of our mission programs, includes some of the driest land on the earth.
2. For centuries, the people here have suffered from drought, and it is reported to be one of the 4th driest regions in the world.
3. People suffer from the lack of water as the rains stop, the wells dry up and starvation stunts the children's growth
4. The people have to walk miles to get water, dirty and not healthy
5. Below this barren land there is a solid granite formation that prohibits drilling wells by hand.
6. FOMM coordinates drilling wells with Madagascar Water Project who have equipment that drills quickly through the granite. It is like Moses striking the rock!

VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR PRISONERS : SANDALS MAKING
We thank Friends of Madagascar Mission for supporting vocational ministry among prisoners. The prisoners have many talents. They are intelligent and quick to learn new skills. Through this sandal-making training, we want to help them develop their abilities and prepare for a better future after their release.

Objectives:
To develop the prisoners’ talents and practical skills.
To equip them with skills that can help them earn a living after release.
To give them hope and prepare them for reintegration into society.
To encourage them to use their abilities in a positive and productive way.

Please share the following information to your timeline so that more help is given to the pest of the poor: We are a Christian-based faith organization that provides support for both evangelism and humanitarian work in Madagascar. Why? Approximately 50% of the Malagasy peoples there have not been reached with the message of Christ, and Madagascar is one of the very poorest nations in the world. The average income is $300 per year. Famine is frequent and attacks children the most, causing permanent damage to their development. On top of the terrible burden of extreme poverty, the majority live in fear of the spirits of their ancestors and the shamans who claim to be able to assuage them.

Your support brings the proclamation of the Gospel through 82 full-time evangelists, three Bible Schools, even translating and printing the Bible into a traditional Malagasy language, and other programs and projects.

FOMM supports important humanitarian projects including:
the Nutrition Program at Ejeda Hospital, a Prison Ministry project at over 36 prisons delivering food, clothing, medication and hygiene supplies; and two Drip Irrigation Projects.

All programs are operated and managed by the Malagasy people.
FOMM provides the financial resources.

FOMM guarantees that 100% of any designated gift is given to the project and nothing is taken out of the gift for administrative expenses!

FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT: PRISONERS BECOME NEW CREATIONS IN CHRIST!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." 2 Cor: 5:17

A Joyful Celebration in Madagascar Prison Ministry : After faithfully completing six months of Bible study and catechism classes, these prisoners fulfilled the requirements to receive Holy Baptism and Confirmation. To commemorate this significant step in their Christian journey, each participant received: a Bible, a Certificate of Baptism and Confirmation, and a White Garment, symbolizing their new life in Christ.

We praise God for His transforming power in the lives of these prisoners. Our sincere thanks go to Friends of Madagascar Mission (FOMM) for its faithful support of the Madagascar Prison Ministry (MPM). Through this partnership, prisoners are discovering hope, growing in faith, and experiencing the life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

Strengthening Management Skills for More Effective Ministry
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human beings.”— Colossians 3:23

The FNCC/FOMM organized a training program for project leaders and coordinators of FOMM-funded projects across Madagascar, held on 17–19 June 2026.

During the training, participants engaged in several important topics, including work plan development, budget preparation, report writing, and the sharing of experiences. These sessions were designed to strengthen management skills and improve the implementation and effectiveness of ministry projects.

We sincerely thank FOMM for its generous support to FNCC, which made this important initiative possible. We trust that this training will produce lasting benefits by enhancing project management and strengthening ministry throughout Madagascar, bringing glory to God in all that we do.
