Join us in celebrating an exciting milestone! Caleb Wragge and Sophie Warnberg graduated from Luther Seminary this past weekend and we’re so proud of them both!

Sophie, a St. Andrew Member, earned a Master of Divinity (MDiv), the course of study for those preparing to serve as pastors in the ELCA. Caleb, our High School & Young Adult Minister, earned a Master of Arts in Children, Youth and Family Ministry, a program that integrates theology, theory, and practice to equip leaders to nurture the future of faith through young people and their families.

Pictured with them is Jen Gruendler, a former St. Andrew staff member who helped guide Caleb and Sophie during their confirmation years and now serves at Seminary!

Please join us in congratulating Caleb and Sophie on this incredible achievement and in giving thanks for the ways they will continue to serve God while living out their faith in daily life!

Our new Sermon Series, Villains and Heroes of the Bible, begins appropriately with the Serpent in Genesis. Where God begins with abundance to Adam and Eve: “You may eat from any tree,” the Serpent narrows all of creation down to the one thing withheld, a forbidden tree. This makes God seem restrictive instead of generous. In that subtle shift, the Serpent still holds up the same mirror to humanity today: surrounded by abundance, we fixate on what we do not have. Let us be fully grateful for the freedom given to us by our God of love and abundance demonstrated in Jesus.

It’s graduation season! St. Andrew Early Learning celebrated their 2026 graduates with a special hero-themed ceremony last week! Before that, they had grad photos taken where they were asked who their heroes were. Congratulations and blessings to all 2026 graduates as they head off to their next exciting chapter!
