What a weekend we had at Union!

Family & Friends Day 2026 was filled with worship, fellowship, laughter, good food, and so many moments that reminded us just how special it is to come together.

From Saturday’s bowling fellowship to Sunday’s worship and celebration, it was a blessing to see family, friends, familiar faces, and new faces enjoying one another.

Thank you to everyone who came out, invited someone, helped behind the scenes, served, cooked, participated, and helped make this weekend one to remember.

As we look back through these pictures, we’re grateful for every smile, every hug, every laugh, and every memory made.

Saturday, UBC kicked off Family & Friends Day 2026 at Eastern Shore Lanes in Pocomoke, MD!

We had an awesome turnout, and what a great time we had together! There was plenty of bowling, laughter, fellowship, and just good old-fashioned fun with family and friends.

Union Baptist Church invites you, your family, and your friends to join us for "Family & Friends Weekend 2026!" We’re coming together for a weekend of faith, fellowship, food, fun, and just enjoying one another.

🎳Saturday, we’re kicking things off with some good old-fashioned fun and fellowship at the bowling alley.
And Sunday morning, we’re coming together to worship!!

Then don’t run off after service! We’re heading outside for the "Fellowship Cookout", where there will be games, a bounce house for the children, lots of good food, and plenty of time to just enjoy one another.

Call your family. Call your friends. And if it’s been a minute since we’ve seen you at Union, this is a good weekend to come on back and see us. 💙

Today, the Union Baptist Church family celebrates the birthday of our Pastor, Rev.George Bright!

Pastor Bright, we thank God for allowing you to see another year of life. Today we celebrate God’s faithfulness, His grace, and His hand upon your life. Thank you for your leadership, your heart for God’s people, and for faithfully leading Union Baptist Church.

Our prayer is that God will continue to strengthen you, keep you in good health, and bless you with many more birthdays to celebrate. May He continue to order your steps, give you strength for each new day, and surround you with His love and peace.

What a day we had celebrating UBC's 161st Church Anniversary!

During our Morning Worship Service, Pastor George Bright preached from the depths of his soul and preached the church happy with the message, "Living Under the Spotlight" (1 Peter 1:13–17).

Our afternoon service was nothing short of amazing. Pastor Joe L. Poe and the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church family blessed us with an anointed Word from on high and spirit-filled worship that ushered us into the presence of God.

God met us, blessed us, and allowed us to celebrate 161 years of ministry together.

UBC is grateful for all that God has done and excited for what He has yet to do.

To God be all the glory!
