Celebrate recovery East Moline

Celebrate recovery East Moline Helping people recover from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups. C.R. is not a one time event, but a family that walks with you. It works if you KEEP COMING BACK.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to find God's healing power in our lives through the Eight Recovery Principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered Twelve Steps. By working the Christ- centered steps and applying their Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from the pain of our pasts and the destructive behaviors of our present. This freedom creates peace

, serenity, joy, and more importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God, others, and our One and Only Higher Power, Jesus Christ.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is let go. Let go of the resentment. Let go of the regret. Let go of the need to control every outcome. Not because it didn't matter. Not because it didn't hurt. But because your peace is too valuable to be chained to what God is asking you to release.

"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

God never asks us to carry tomorrow's burdens, yesterday's wounds, and today's responsibilities all at once. Lay it down. Trust Him with what you cannot fix, and make room for the peace He wants to give you.

You don’t have to have it all figured out today. Focus on the step in front of you not the whole path. Breathe, move forward, and trust that each day brings you closer to where you’re meant to be.

Rather than attempting to control external circumstances or change other people, this request centers entirely on reforming your own thoughts, motives, and character.

Every single sunrise brings a brand-new day, a fresh opportunity, and an outpouring of God's grace to help you navigate your recovery. When you lean into a Christ-centered journey like Celebrate Recovery, you are never defined by the mistakes, hurts, or habits of your past. Instead, you are invited to step into the freedom of the present moment, trusting that the Lord’s mercies are made entirely new every single morning.

It’s easy to criticize from a distance. It’s harder... and holier... to choose compassion, humility, and service instead. Jesus didn’t spend His life throwing stones at broken people. He knelt beside them, loved them, and washed their feet.

May we become people who lead with grace more than judgment, mercy more than pride, and love more than criticism.
