Crosstown Baptist Church Silvis, Illinois Crosstown Baptist Church is located northeast of the intersection of Crosstown Ave and 1st St. / 19th We welcome you to the Crosstown Baptist Church.

We are a people who are brought together in Christ, our Savior. Our desire is to be "rooted and built up in Him". We are committed to loving one another as Christ commanded. We have a threefold mission to fulfill. First, we are committed to the ministry of Evangelism. Our desire is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ beginning in our community and then to reach out to the far reaches of our wor

ld. The Bible teaches us that we are saved from the penalty of sin by faith in Jesus Christ, who died on the Cross of Calvary for our sin. Second, we are committed to the ministry of Edification. Our desire is to teach the Bible in its entirety to our people so that they will grow and become strong in their faith. We are rooted in Christ and become strong in our faith as we study the Word of God, the Bible. It is our authority for what we believe and how we live our lives. Third, we are committed to the ministry of Exaltation. Our desire is to glorify God not only in our worship services, but also in our daily lives. Our highest purpose in living is to glorify the Lord and to enjoy Him as we fellowship with Him every day. We do this through diligent study of the Word and through the faithful service to Him.
