Hi Kids Club Families!

We can’t believe our adventures across the world are ending this Wednesday! Since we kicked off Kids Club in September, your kids have traveled to Haiti, Thailand, Uganda, Japan, Papua New Guinea, West Africa, and Mexico! They’ve learned about the culture and the workers there sharing the gospel with the people living in these countries. They’ve also journeyed through the entire book of Acts, studying the Church’s very first missionaries, and they’ve learned about many amazing men and women of our contemporary past who have been missionaries in other countries and have accomplished great things for the Lord like Jim + Elisabeth Elliot, Nate Saint, Hudson Taylor, and more!

Every spring, we wrap up our Wednesday night kids club program with a party, and this year is no different. This year’s theme is Glow In The Dark, reminding kids that we are called to be the light in the world. We’ll have glow-in-the-dark games, a glow stick praise party, popsicles, and much more! Have your kids wear neon and tell them to get ready for an unforgettable night of fun and fellowship to wrap up this year and kick-off summer!

Kids Club will resume in September and we have a TON of fun and impactful things planned for the 2026-2027 year that we can’t wait to share with you so stay tuned!

Hi Wildwood Kids families! This Sunday only (March 29th), we are excited to have our children's choir helping lead us in worship for both services. Just a reminder that because of this, Wildwood Kids will not open until 9:20AM and 11:00AM (following our worship part of the service).

**Nursery and Pre-K 3s room will be open for drop off before/at the start of the service as usual!

Hey there! We have so many exciting things planned in our kids ministry for Easter this year, which means a lot of prep and prayer! One of the most fun prep tasks we have is packing the gift bags we hand out to the kids every year and this year, we are inviting YOU to be a part of the fun! Join us on Thursday, March 19 in the kids ministry space for a time of packing the bags, fellowship, and praying over each child who attends one of our Sunday morning services this Easter. This is something ALL ages can help with, so bring your kids or bring your friends and let's get packing!

Holy Week is coming up and begins on Sunday, March 29th. This packet has everything you need to dig deeper into each day of Holy Week with your kiddos. Flash cards, a list of what happened on each day of Holy Week and where in Scripture you can read about it, and some fun family activities to go with it all, like ice cream Palm “Sundaes” for example! 🍦

Pick yours up at check-out this Sunday at the table we will have set up just outside the kids ministry space!

If you'd like to join, please go to the Wildwood Church app and tap 'Groups' on the bottom of your screen. Scroll down and tap 'Ministries'. Then, scroll down until you find "Wildwood Kids Worship Team" with the same graphic we have posted below. You'll be able to request to join from there!

Today in Wildwood Kids, we talked about Mark 10:13-16 and the kids got to learn about Jesus telling the disciples to let the children come to Him!

This verse is our prayer as kids ministry leaders - we want to be people who help bring these kids to Jesus every Sunday!

What a privilege it was to talk to our Wildwood kids this morning about how much Jesus loves them and send them home with some little reminders of that truth.

Grown-ups: we have a lot to learn from kids. Their faith and trust is so confident and assured. It’s an honor to teach these kids every Sunday, and an honor to learn from them too!

🇺🇬 Uganda 🇺🇬

For our second week in Uganda, we had the Langworthy family’s missionary keepers come talk to our Wildwood Kids! We learned a lot, we prayed for them, and we are so thankful to Mike and Teresa for being our special guests tonight!

We also continued learning about Uganda by:
-Playing dodgeball (a game that is popular with both Ugandan children and American children alike!)
-Our preschool group made dot paint giraffes and have had a great time with their safari-themed activities!
-Our K-5th group learned about and made their own African pattern drawings!

In missions and culture, we learned about David Livingstone and how the chief he led to Christ led thousands to Christ! We don’t know the kingdom impact our sharing the gospel will have. It’s so important!

We are wrapping up our adventure in Uganda next week and then will be heading nearby to West Africa!

Tonight we wrapped up our Japan adventure in Kids Club! In this three week study we have learned so much about Japan, our missionaries there (a special thanks to Pastor Andy, Dana and Lucas Thomaston for teaching us so much and sharing about your trips to visit the Logans!), and we got to have some fun learning about the culture there through making art (cherry blossom paintings, origami, and Mt. Fuji walking sticks!) and playing games that Japanese children like to play like Koma, a spinning top game, and of course we had to play Mario Kart in real life tonight with an obstacle course created by our awesome games team!

We finished studying the book of Acts in the fall, so we have been learning about missionaries of our contemporary past and it has been wonderful! These last three weeks we have learned about William Tyndale, David Brainerd, and William Carey!

Have your passports ready, kids! Next week we’ll be in Uganda!

We have loved our time in Japan, and we wrapped up our time there by praying specifically for our missionaries in Japan and the unreached people there. Our Wildwood kids got to take these postcards home to hang up on their fridge and pray for these things with their families. We are excited to live out Philippians 1:3-4 and Ephesians 1:16 by remembering the Logans in our prayers and praying for them with great joy!
