Worship Sunday June 7, 2026 Senior Bridging Service 10:00 AM
This special Unitarian Universalist Bridging Service honors our Westminster graduating high school seniors as they move from youth into young adulthood. Together, we will celebrate their growth, bless the journeys ahead, and remind them that this congregation will always be a home of love, support, and belonging for them. This is also our last service with Rev J, our departing Director of Spiritual.

Coming of Age: Now and Again
9:00 led by Rev. Deborah Bennett
10:30 AM led by the 2026 Coming of Age Class
A very important part of the Unitarian Universalist faith is the idea of a personal search for truth and meaning. Here you are not told what to believe but instead are supported in gathering information and experiences that help inform your own evolving understandings of life. People of all ages are encouraged on this journey. This Sunday we get to hear the reflections of several youth and adults who have been doing this meaning making work throughout the year in our Coming of Age programs. Join us for these two special services. At 9 am our adult Coming of Age Again participants will share there personal "This I Believe" statements and then three of our youth will gift us by leading the 10:30 service and sharing their personal credos. What a wonderful day - plan to join us for the whole morning!

Ode to Parenting at Any Age
Led by Rev. Deborah Bennett
Today we honor mothers, fathers, and every parent who has dedicated their lives to the sacred act of loving and caring for a young person. To be a parent is to experience some of life’s greatest joys and deepest loves. And to be a parent can also be to experience some of life’s greatest heartaches and toughest challenges. Whether baby or adult our children live in our hearts and minds 24/7 – being a parent is not a part-time or limited time endeavor. And while not everyone will become a parent, we are all impacted by the way that parenting is seen in our culture. We are all harmed by the myth that the nuclear family is superior to communal care of our children. Today we pause to say thank you to those that parent. We see you. And we explore how we, as a community, can help to overcome the harm created by our culture of isolation parenting. Worship Sunday May 3, 2026 9 & 10:30 AM Please bring a flower.
The Fierce Journey of Caring (and the Pain of Over-Caring)
In Honor of Flower Communion Sunday
Led by Rev. Deborah Bennett
We all know what it is to love and care for others. It is what opens our hearts and brings meaning to our lives. And yet, sometimes our care can start to erode that loving feeling and our own wellbeing. Are there limits to what we can do for others? If so, how can we possibly know what they are and how to set healthy boundaries around our care? Join us for this important conversation as we also celebrate our Flower Communion Sunday. A time to share the love and beauty of flowers with others. Bring a few of your favorite flowers to share. What If?
Led by Rev. DL Helfer
In this rapidly changing world, it’s possible to lose sense of our agency, of that which we can impact. Today, then, we explore the what ifs. What if we can address climate change more substantially? What if we defeat the scourge of fascism? What if faith becomes a point of connection rather than a silo? What if we continue to find ways to move toward the beloved world we dream of? For more information on how to join the service go to: https://www.westminsteruu.org/services/what-if/

Biophilia: For the Love of Nature led by Rev. Deborah Bennett
Do you love trees, flowers, plants and dirt? Are you committed to the flourishing of animals, insects and birds? Do you find beauty and joy in mountains, streams, rivers, the ocean and sand? Are a few of your favorite things breezes, raindrops and the earth beneath your feet? If you answered yes to these you are officially part of the Biophilia Community. Today in celebration of the natural world of which we are apart and in honor of Earth Day we come together to sing our praises and gratitude loud and clear for the love of this natural world.
