This week on Getting in the Word, we continue our study through the life of Joseph in Genesis 47:1–12 titled The Pathway to Preservation. As Joseph's family arrives in Egypt during a time of severe famine, we witness God's providential care unfold through one faithful man. Through The Identification, The Conversation, and The Preservation, we see how God uses Joseph's position to preserve, protect, and provide for His people. Along the way, we are reminded that true blessing is not found in wealth, power, or position, but in the favor and promises of God. Ultimately, this passage points us to Jesus Christ, the One who eternally preserves His people and secures their future by His grace. Join us as we discover the comfort, confidence, and security that belong to those whom God has determined to keep.

This week on Getting In the Word, we come to Genesis 46:28-34 and a message titled, "What Comes Next?"
Life is filled with moments we spend years waiting for. A restored relationship, an answered prayer, a long-awaited blessing. We often think that once we arrive, the story is complete. But what happens after the blessing comes?
As Jacob's family finally arrives in Egypt, Joseph is alive, the reunion takes place, and the journey is over. Yet God is not finished. Through The Move, The Moment, and The Meeting, we discover that God's blessings are not destinations where we stop, but opportunities for further trust and obedience.
Join us as we explore how God guides His people, fulfills His promises, and prepares them for what comes next.
Open your Bible and let us begin Getting In the Word.

This week on Getting in the Word, Pastor Stuart continues our journey through the life of King Asa with a message from 2 Chronicles 14:1–15 titled, "Foundations of Faithfulness."
Before Asa ever faced an impossible battle, God was preparing him through private obedience. In this powerful passage, we discover that public victories are often rooted in private faithfulness. As Asa removed idols, pursued the Lord, and depended upon God in prayer, he built the spiritual foundation necessary to stand when overwhelming opposition arrived.
Join us as we explore three essential foundations for every believer: The Call to Purify, The Call to Pursue, and The Call to Pray. Whether you are facing a season of peace or a season of pressure, this message will challenge you to strengthen your walk with Christ and trust Him when the battle becomes greater than your own strength.

This week on Getting in the Word, Pastor Stuart Guthrie brings a message from Genesis 46:1-27 titled “Reassurance for the Road Ahead.” As Jacob prepares to leave the land of promise and journey into Egypt, fear and uncertainty begin to fill his heart. Yet in the middle of the transition, God graciously reminds Jacob that His promises have not changed. In this passage, we see the Lord comforting His servant, strengthening his faith, and assuring him of His presence for the journey ahead.
Many believers understand what it feels like to face an uncertain road, wondering what God is doing and why He is leading them into unfamiliar places. This message reminds us that the God who reassured Jacob is the same God who walks with His people today. Join us as we study Genesis 46 together and discover the reassurance God gives for the road ahead.
