Worship has never been about filling a need in God. He is already complete, already holy, already enthroned in glory.
Yet throughout Scripture, God calls His people to worship because He knows what happens when we do.
When we worship, fear loses its grip. When we worship, our focus shifts from our problems to His promises. When we worship, our hearts are reminded that He is still in control.
Jesus said, "The Father is seeking such people to worship Him." (John 4:23)
God desires worship not because He needs our praise, but because we need His presence. Worship softens hard hearts, restores weary souls, and brings peace to troubled minds.
Today, whatever you're facing, take a moment to worship. Not because God needs it, but because your soul was created for it.
"Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." Psalm 95:6
