Worship has never been about filling a need in God. He is already complete, already holy, already enthroned in glory.

Yet throughout Scripture, God calls His people to worship because He knows what happens when we do.

When we worship, fear loses its grip.When we worship, our focus shifts from our problems to His promises.When we worship, our hearts are reminded that He is still in control.

Jesus said, "The Father is seeking such people to worship Him." (John 4:23)

God desires worship not because He needs our praise, but because we need His presence. Worship softens hard hearts, restores weary souls, and brings peace to troubled minds.

Today, whatever you're facing, take a moment to worship. Not because God needs it, but because your soul was created for it.

"Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker." Psalm 95:6

🇺🇸 Memorial Day —Honoring Our Heroes
Today we pause to remember those who gave their lives so we could live in freedom. Their courage and sacrifice remind us of the greatest love — the love that lays down its life for others.

As we honor our fallen heroes, may we also lift our hearts in gratitude to the Lord who gave us eternal freedom through His Son.

Dedicating Our Children to the Lord

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

As parents, guardians, and a church family, we recognize that every child is a gift from God.
When we dedicate our children to the Lord, we are committing to raise them in His love, His truth, and His purpose.

Just as Hannah presented Samuel to the Lord in
1 Samuel 1:27-28, we, too, offer our children back to the One who created them - trusting that His plans for their lives are greater than anything we could imagine.

At Praise Assembly of Ridgeland, we stand with families as they take this beautiful step of faith.

Powerful Mother's Day Sunday at Praise Assembly of Ridgeland altar call took place at the close of Worship this morning. Afterwards we were blessed with a word for the heart of the Mother's from Lady Veus Darick Fisher "When Women come together" and we honored the Mother's for what they do daily. We closed the day celebrating Sister Cheryl Hensley for her faithfulness to the ministry as our Media Ministry Leader. Thank you Apostle Ethel Heyward-Boson and family for fellowshipping with us today.
